Yeah I'm not really too sure what to expect on VAL401, if a deal is going to happen (50-70% probability? it's low risk, low cost, but with wide user potential on most adenocarcinomas), it should be happening in the next 1-6 months, but what it will be no one knows.
It's a slightly curious drug in the sense of a phase 3 reformulation, would a £10-20m upfront deal be realistic? For some reason I suspect if the deal comes it will be with a small to midcap pharma, probably not a household name.
I don't really know how they would structure the deal, whether they partner into an IPO etc. I'd quite like to retain some ownership or future % revenue from it, but if it allows Valirx to develop 201, 301 and 101 I'd be very happy to see 401 leave us for a briefcase full of 500 euro notes!!
