Am I reading this correct. Babis lost the election to a coalition. But since Zeman has, coincidentally, been hospitalized - Babis is given power and allowed to form his own ruling party?

I like BT (well, I like the EE division mostly). If I was going to criticise them, the government's tax holiday on FTTP buildouts is causing literal havoc for them. They have plenty of opportunity to invest in their network tax efficiently and upselling FTTP products, but dear God the rise of smaller 'altnets' breaking into their rural/small town territory, where BT has historically been slow to replace copper but had a complete monopoly, could bite them in the bum by 2025.

Meshtrader, are you referring to American retail investors, or funds?

American funds take an extensive interest in global funds, I am not clear whether the average American would comprehend the tax situation so clearly on foreign shares. I admit I haven't bothered going on the American market (I am aware it's probably only that tax filing form, I just can't be bothered).

I'm personally dubious about high levels of hydrogen in the transport industry. Unless offshore wind becomes so cheap it's silly.

From recollection, I recall hearing figures that 50kWh of electricity will take an electric car 400 miles. But 50kWh put into hydrogen production would only equal 100-150 miles. I'd be happy if the technology improves, but these are the kinda questions we need to look at.

Hydrogen may become a bigger part of the mix in economies with stupid amounts of renewable energy. Probably UK, Nordic regions etc. Australia is talking a big game on this, but not sure how practical it is

Expect them to ramp like crazy for 48 hours then disappear.

FPV, to be honest it was an idiot move at the time. I had no idea what EMH was, but I saw it was the only investable lithium share in Europe & kinda took a punt, it was a strange frothing market at that time.

I'm not complaining. Half of my shares were bought at 6p, we're not far away from my very first 20x bagger.

Interesting take, if it'll take 2 years to build the initial plant, with two years following the start of production for full capacity, it makes me wonder of they will stop at 50ktpa?

CEZ got their fingers burnt last time they tried to buy some German wind energy portfolios (apparently their partner was effectively making up imaginary projects - the court cases still roll on...).

It's typical isn't it? I was in ZNWD for quite a while, not a huge investment (£600 punt). I bought at 10p and sold at 16p and was happy with that. Shame I didn't catch the ~26p peak, but I am not 100% certain this is a sustainable upwards trend. I think it'll take a bash when the new shares get sold onto the market. I note they dropped 50m ZNWD shares into the market earlier this week....

Malik, the Czech govt has been negotiating with Volkswagen CEO since the start of June 2021 about this new Gigafactory. I suspect the outcome will be known (good or bad) by September, as the project had been rumbling along with the lower minions in VW since March.

So basically, they have purchased 50% of a mine for 1.4mn euros, plus their getting their investors to pay the rest of the 3m euros, which will be sold as new onto the AIM market to investors?

I guess we should expect the ZNWD brokers/marketing teams to start courting us with talk of "unmissable" "once in a lifetime" opportunities, to help them shift the newly issued 3m euros worth of ZNWD shares :)

Could be real rumours, could just mean the PR/broker machine has been fired up for 3 months to stimulate interest to sell more equity in VAL.

For me, 401 has been parked for so long it must be commercially useless. 201....I want to believe, but instinct tells me it would have been snapped up long ago if it was a blockbuster.

Suzy is a lovely lady. I've met her several times and I would say she is a wonderful character, but whether that translates to investor profit is tough to call.

If the products are good and the market is interested, the old cliches would say Valirx products will be bought out by a FTSE company for £100m. It always seems to be £100m when there's controversy floating around in the background :)

Plus, it sounds like ZNWD is such a small mine they won't even have their own processing facility.

Not a big fan of the ZNWD investment proposition myself.

Heck, do I really want to invest in a speculative Zinnwald mine investment? They have 50% of a small Lithium mine in Germany (a rounding error compared to EMH's lithium), plus they need investors to stump up cash for multiple Irish gold mines, gold mines in Sweden, etc.

It's probably investable for the banks who will lend the debt, but I am not sure I have the palate to go into a potentially dodgy gold/lithium miner looking for 5 years cash and directors salary to develop mines.

I have always assumed the lithium will be sold at something like market price - 10% discount.

Would make sense from a governance perspective. But CEZ will be angling for efficiencies and Czech nationalist tendencies.
