Trading aside, it is an odd question, what should the MCAP be, assuming a moderate performance matching our historic performance?

Assuming it could be a useful for palliative care only, owning 10-20% of a £300m drug, is that plausible? We all know there are large variables to consider here. So... £40-60m?

I suppose people are seeing an interesting timeline, 201 clinical trial results due imminently, VAL401 allegedly going into Phase 3?

I am going out on a limb and I am not a bio-scientist by any means. I haven't fully looked into the COVID/VAL201 link, but I believe the theory is something like: For androgen-related cancers like the prostate, there is a hormonal growth cell mechanism that gets stuck in a "fast growth" cell replication stage. VAL201 works by effectively putting a 3D protein "spoke in the wheels" that prevents this phase of cell replication occurring (or severely limits it, depending on a whole heap of complex 3D genetic/chemical interactions).

I assume a similar SRC-kinase pathway is used to limit the growth of COVID in a similar manner. But I could be significantly in error!

Uhh, well, technically someone posted a link to the gov website that showed the trial data had been updated and closed. That's not exactly rumour mongering is it?

I mean, the results could be crap, but they do at least exist.

So realistically, this means a 2b trial is next, maybe 30-50 patients?

Interested to see how they want to JV/license this. It is painful seeing how it has taken 5 years to test 12 patients and we still haven't had the data report.

I think we have £100m+ easy target, but timeline is debatable. Have been in and out of this share for so long (it broke my heart to see politics get in the way), but finally we seem in a strong position to press the fast forward button.

We will help academics develop ideas... through to the pre-clinicial trial development? But then using external finance and partners to progress clinicial trials?

I guess I'm trying to gauge the value creation step. Funding clinical trials has so far been an utter debacle.

I see Victoria d'arquino from the 301 trial development has moved on as part of the reshuffling.

In the grand scheme of things, it is probably a 'win win' option for Krupa.

Either way, they either want to see their own project developed, this is a nice way of either a) buying more shares, b ) raising the value of their existing shares, or c) helping get interest to develop the mine. With possibility of d) helping progress Czech economy.

Downsides....? I cannot see any.

I can't recall the terms, but I believe 201 was theoretically modelled and was given partial ownership of 201 royalties.

Ha, for better or worse, I have met Satu in the past and do not particularly value her business acumen and her handling of my cash investment.

That said, she is a Finnish intellectual PhD, I am pretty sure she has not developed the grammar and tone of an English "bloke" overnight.
