I wonder what the specific PYC connection is.
It is fair to say that PYC has a royalty share agreement on VAL201 (1% ish?), and PYC (despite having 70+ customers) were tweeting about Valirx in August 2020, around the same time PYC announced their new "immuno oncology" contract with Astellas (a Japanese major pharmaceutical).
It is not a giant leap, but is definitely lodged in the "rumour mill", that Valirx announced in May 2020 that they had signed an R&D contract with an undisclosed Japanese global pharma. It would make plausible sense if that company also wished to evaluate VAL201/VAL301 with the same PYC software model, which may explain why the PYC Twitter-droid was posting about Valirx. (without being allowed to be specific).
Admittedly, PYC had just issued equity and were probably trying to drum up punters to buy their free printed paper/confetti.
It would be lovely if this all just came together, and VAL had a partner for both 201 and 301. Because frankly, if they have expanded on the 4mg dosing results in 2018, this drug is worth billions.
Out of interest, am I correct, that Valirx own 100% of VAL301? I believe we filed the patents for endometriosis, but I have no idea if the original Italian research team, or CRUK, have partial ownership of 301?
