There's not much happening across other stocks too. Looking likely that Friday will end be a flat day for the UK stock market overall. Still got my £50k in the till. Will today be that day for my 17p wish target price lower entry that few days ago I called up? Imho, there's a very good chance.

As AimMaster2018 would say, the US Wall Street is firing up nicely tonight and seems to be on steroids.

As to say that only 10 days ago everyone was wanting out and the Wall Street sat at under 38,400, whilst its currently sitting tonight at plus 40,550 points. It just shows you how panic can run like wildfire and make investors do silly regrettable decisions. But hey, as usual Cpi did not benefit from this turn around of positive market direction and specifically from the US which most stocks tend to be affected when US goes down.

I'm noticing a few stocks that have been bouncing off their bottoms on a daily basis since Monday that have suddenly sprung up furiously. These stocks have shorting funds sitting on top. It makes you wonder if CPI shorting fund are trying to have their cake and eat it. Perhaps, they've being hedging their short positions. But, I'm not joining in just yet. The market sentiment is indeed very good this afternoon and the Vix fear gauge is down another 4% to 15.75 points in comparison to over a week ago when it touched close to 40 points. So, very very little volatility across the market.

Just for anyone doubting my data, the amount that I posted is for an overall amount of many lots of shares being traded apart to make a total amount of 1,327,214 shares traded as shorts at 17.969p around or just after 12.05 time. We've seen spikes after this time and perhaps that's the reasons behind the odd share price spreads. No

Yes Trenners, I have indeed noticed those mentioned trades. I also saw someone paying close to 18.50p early this morning at the opening and took 100,000 shares. They were keen to buy.

Imho, cpi lacks strength and any bad US trading day could in theory create havoc and knock cpi off it upward trajectory. Let's see😉

I do think before I post my comments and nothing against any foreigner investors.

My concern here Savage_KeyboardR is that if any of those deep pockets investors were to fall foul of the law in their country, then it would have a negative impact on the BT image per se. That's why too many fingers in the BT pie is a recipe for a potential disaster that could give rise to some disagreements among these top deep pockets investors.

That's my views. Perhaps I'm over seeing things, but I'm a bit of a purist for when it comes to investing and don't really like the current ever so changing formation of those growing group of foreign investors. If it continues along that road, BT will eventually end in one of these foreign hands for good.

In my honest opinion, today cpi trading day has been mostly run by the AT guys. Very few decent sizes of trades seen. Not really blockbuster stuff enough to cpi upwards and onwards.

One very good indicator for all the stocks in general is that 'Fear Gauge' indicator has come all way down towards currently 16.80 points from an almost 40 points high around the 5th August when we were going through a wide market persistent sell off.

This major reversal has brought back calm and removed most of the markets volatile algorithms that were responsible for knocking down share prices valuations albeit to the benefit of those who Sat I'm cash and enjoys riding the waves for a few quick trades.
