There is a connection between new licences, a post I made yesterday about what the Chinese are doing and another post I made about a special report by the House of Commons Environment Audit Committee, which, by the way hold sway over the NSTA.

That report talked of "the remaining global carbon budget" and "stronger targets and verification arrangements in line with the Government’s commitments under the Paris Agreement".

So if the Chinese have backed out of the Paris Agreement and stuck two fingers up to green policies, does that mean the UK must do more to fight climate change (which cannot be influenced because it is natural, as 10 million year-old fossils and ice cores prove it)?

Will Sunak say that we cannot have new gas exploration because of what the Chinese have done, in other words, he uses the "Not my fault" excuse?

He probably trusts the BBC, but they keep the truth from audiences. I've got lots of examples but I'll use this one - and I'm not being a Trump supporter. This isn't about Trump, it is about biased reporting (bias that shouldn't be there) but I use this example because it lets me use the joke at the end.

I have never heard the BBC report anything about Trump that has a positive aspect, but anytime there is something that casts Trump in a bad light, it is their top news item - on R4 it is. I don't know about BBC television as I don't watch television. Today it was more charges against him and several others.

Trump's campaign manager addressed the press and said that tomorrow the former president will show something important in New York; all journalists are invited to the event. “You will see and understand everything yourselves,” he told the reporters.

Journalists arrive at the venue, Trump comes out to them and walks on water. He makes a circle, silently looks at everyone and leaves.

Today, that sort of hygiene is accepted medical practise, but he was utterly condemned, driven out of his job and ridiculed. I can imagine the mockery - "Washing hands stops disease spreading, ha ha. He's a conspiracy theorist".

He ended up in a mental asylum where he died. I had previously read that he was beaten to death in the asylum, but this article says he died of sepsis.

I knew someone who believed all the gov't bluff about how great heat pumps were. He found out the hard way that they lied. He admits it was a big mistake, and here we see the top man admitting it.

In that article - "The capital cost of [installing a heat pump] is too high" and "heat pumps would 'never work" - but in the Gov't Net Zero promotional literature, they never told that to the public. They gave us a load bluff about heat pumps are great, they will save you money, but here is their top Net Zero man telling the truth. Politicians always lie.

As for conspiracy theories - most are proved to be true. Hunter Biden's laptop tuned out to be true.

In 2020 people were called conspiracy theorists for saying that the Wuhan virus came from a laboratory - now it is the official version of events.

That the British government carried out secret germ warfare tests on the British public in the 1960s was called a conspiracy theory - proved to be true and you can read in Hansard, Oliver Letwin apologising for doing it. The deaths at Slapton Sands in WW2 (Operation Tiger or Exercise Tiger) was called a conspiracy theory - now admitted to be true. That the British tortured prisoners in Cyrus in the 1960s was called a conspiracy theory - now admitted to be true.

I could go on with many more. Are you going to try to deny things that are officially recognised as true?

So we have to suffer the horrors of Net Zero but it will make no difference to the planet, assuming global warming is man made (which it isn't) because the Chinese are going to carry on as before.
