Have I got this right - in India an ounce of gold costs $2,379?

I looked up the gold price in India - they use grams not ounces - the price was 63640 Rupees for 10 grams of gold.

1.00 US Dollar = 83.17 Indian Rupees, so 10g costs 63640 \ 83.17 = $765.18

One troy ounce (troy oz) is equal to 31.1034768 grams so 1 oz costs $765.18 x 3.1103 = $2,379.

Just look at all the so-called analysis on here. It's all specious drivel, worthless tripe from those who pretend to be knowledgeable and well informed.

I bailed out of CNR at about 49p. There was an opinion worth heeding, and all I got was abuse for telling you what was going to happen.

Whenever I need a laugh, I think of ISAPENSION.

A few years ago, ISAPENSION said this would hit 60p "soon".

I had warned him that it was going down I warned at 53p. I warned again at 42p. If he had listened, ISAPENSION could have avoided a huge loss.

We all make our own decisions and are free to reject warnings, advice, tips, etc, but he was so arrogant and bigotted that just because I said the sp was going down and he didn't like hearing it, he launched savage attacks on me using insults and abuse.

In fact, his forecast of 60p was made after I warned of a fall and after it did fall sharply. He rejected the evidence that I was right.

There is a lesson here, but bigots like ISAPENSION can't learn lessons, their attitude prevents them from learning.

This is the sort of thing that roly DARVO used to post and insist that the only way is up. He ignored the warnings from FK1.

We are free too make our own judgements and reject warnings from others - nothing wrong in that - but roly DARVO was an arrogant bigot and bully - he attacked FK1 using mockery, insults and abuse - all just because he was too bigoted to think seriously about FK's warnings, and he was too bigoted to acknowledge the falling sp which was going down for years proving FK1 right - but that is what a bigot is - someone who won't modify his opinion even when the facts prove him wrong.

Someone on there who was buying at 55p didn't like hearing about a fall (bigot!) and he was relentless in attacking me. What is CNR today - 15p. 14p? I don't know but it must be around that level.

On the FLX board, now FCS, I, along with another called FallingKnife1, were attacked viciously. FK1 said FLX would go to zero. The others gave all the reasons why he was wrong, they claimed. They mocked, insulted and abused us, but today, the company appears to be in administration and it is looking as though shareholders will get a bit fat 0 for their shares.

Karma.

... and a lot of the genuine ones are arrogant and bigoted. They quickly resort to insults and abuse at anyone who has views they don't like, and they feel pleased with themselves for doing so.

I still question KWN bankrupty. As I said - outrageous forecasts, but then I said "has the tide turned?" wondering if this time they might be right. Michael Oliver set a date for his forecasts of a $600 rise - so we will know by Christmas.

I can't be bothered to post much. These boards are full of rampers who use subtle methods to hide their agenda and pull the wool over the eyes of genuine people.
