Nidgeyr - from RNS 22nd May 20: - As previously announced, and as detailed at the Company's Capital Markets Day presentation on 27 April 2020, Hurricane has been carrying out ongoing testing of the two Lancaster EPS wells in order to determine the sustainability of combined production rates up to gross 20,000 bopd. Achieving this target rate at a sustainable level has not been possible as the impact of increasing production rates resulted in instability in the flow regime on the 205/21a-7Z well as a result of interference between the wells. This has led to a decision to shut-in the 205/21a-7Z well for the time being and return to a period of testing maximum sustainable rates from just the 205/21a-6 well. The water production from the 205/21a-7Z well at the time the instability was experienced was in line with the water production that had been seen over the previous weeks.

REQUEST — Assistance required from an oilman.

Do we know where Well 7Z and Well 6 enter the Lancaster oil reservoir - is it as shown in presentations near the top or could it be near the bottom.

I assume Well 7Z is deeper than Well 6 and possibly almost within the aquifer area.

Q1, — how much oil is there above the extraction points of Well 7Z and Well 6.

Regarding “bubble point” - as this has been reached, one presumes gas is being released within the reservoir and is gathering at the top of the reservoir - with effect of pushing any remaining oil down towards the extraction points.

Q2, — can we expect to see Water Production reduce as oil is pushed further down by released gas in the Lancaster reservoir.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Digby04 --My experience with Halifax Share Dealing was different with the service you receive ( I have NEVER received AGM notifications through them) - I attempted Chat and Telephone to register my votes but gave up quite quickly on that front and actually WROTE.
I received a phone call at home from SIMON who registered my voting preferences (AGAINST) and I was able to vent my spleen on their Chat and Telephone service - an otherwise exemplary service - which I would recommend.

RNSTranslator and others of similar vein - Probably like all other shareholders I expected and prepared for the dilution, BUT in the order maybe of 50% - Not prepared for 95% !!

As my losses before restructuring were running at £17K I determined at the suggestion of 95% dilution that I was in this to the death no matter what - my delight at present is doing all I can to remove this BOD, even if this becomes 100% dilution.

RNS with April figures for oil production - 322K barrels - coupled with 13 days production after March17 and a couple of days in May should have provided at least 475K barrels at offload - nett income near $18M - less whatever they are throwing at their legal people - suggesting cash balance now near the $140M they should have been at after the two offloads this year.
Another similar 5 offloads (due 2021 )and they should be near CB redemption number.

Assuming all the agencies and the Law courts let us down, then come the 21st May, with 39.8Billion shares in issue, the SP will be 0.113p.

The company is NOT insolvent. The BoD is simply projecting forward that it may possibly become so in 15 months' time.

The BoD view is entirely pessimistic, using depressed oil prices, when the opposite a more likely outcome.

What sort of Bod forecasts doom and gloom to potential investors.

On 21st May, assuming the valuation of HUR is maintained at the April 30th level, (45M), then with 39.8Billion shares in issue the SP will be 0.113p.

Dependant on the release of counter proposals prior to the 21st.there is potential for an SP between the current level and 2.2p, with the present 1.99Billion shares in issue.

I recommend that we all pledge our voting rights to a possible saviour - Crystal Amber.

If nothing transpires then SELL is on the cards during w /c 16th May - which in turn will further depress the SP for the late sellers

It seems that the HUR restructuring is NOT within the sphere of responsibility of the Takeover panel.

I want to bring to your attention, the potential fraud of the shareholders of Hurricane Energy.

Hurricane energy currently has $230M (USD) of debt held by Company Bond.

The company is planning to give 95% of the company to Company Bond holders for just $50m (USD). This is despite 15 months before the maturity date, all determined with NO shareholder involvement.

I strongly believe the company has an agenda against the best interests of shareholders, for their own personal gains.

Detail from recent RNS is :

“For the purpose of implementing the Restructuring, it is proposed that an English Restructuring Plan under Part 26A of the Companies Act 2006 will be utilised, which will require the support of at least 75% (by value) of the Bondholders present (virtually) or by proxy and voting at a meeting convened by the court. The convening hearing of the court will be held virtually on 21 May 2021.”
