Wow….23million plus shares traded today on one transaction…..buy or sell ?
Something is going on here ?

End of FY was 28/2, from looking at offers I suspect their sales have been very poor , seem to have lost direction in terms of their customer profile .

If you look at the J D Williams web site they are currently offering substantial discounts on all fashion( clothing) items, even brand new ranges.
This do not look good, something is not right .
I think they have lost their way and need a new strategy...quickly!!

The database of customer names alone makes this business worth at least £3 a share.
They would be perfect fit for a large supermarket business with no significant clothing business.
Be prepared!!!

The period under the previous management took the company in the wrong direction.
The success of NB prior to them was offering value for money clothing,available in sizes not widely offered elsewhere and to a customer profile of plus 50 years of age.
They basically went off track.
Hopefully they are back on track and if so this company has huge potential again, they could be a superb acquisition for maybe a supermarket business who want to expand their clothing/footwear offer.
NB are totally set up for direct selling, infrastructure perfect etc etc
I agree this SP could be very high when the world is back to normal.
The Alliance family will ensure this company goes from strength to strength as they have to much of their own wealth at stake .

Thank you for taking the time to explain everything.I am though still nervous wether to take up the option or not.
I genuinely believe that the SP will one day be very good.
Although if you follow the web site of the subsidiary company’s like JD Williams they are offering significant discounts still ,so hard to believe business for them is not as buoyant as they suggest ??

I am a very modest shareholder of N Brown and I want to hold onto my shares for the long term
Can somebody explain what the 11/18 means when the company moves to the AIM.
If I take up my 11/18 will that cost me money and if I choose not to take up the offer what does it mean to my existing shares.
