Correction of of 14:08:

Davide Ferrer - for many years number 5 when the big four were healthy. I left out the Miami Open best of three final: Murray beat Ferrer in a three hour match - saw that one live, Ferrer would reach world number three that year and in Miami he was playing world number three Murray, as number four - Nadal was on months out with a knee problem.

Before the final Murray was aiming to win one of two masters he had not yet won. 8/9, he is stil to win Indian Wells. :)

Masters 1000 tournaments have been going since 1970, Murray (14) is all time number 5, three behind Agassi and three ahead of Sampras, so far...

Grand slams three less than Becker who won six but 41 weeks as world number 1 compared to Becker's 12 weeks, would have been more weeks and in my opinion at least one more slam but for wear and tear, interestingly a lot of people say he could have won six slams in a dfferent era, even a very good one.

Had to beat Nadal to make his first final, had to beat Djokovic to get his first slam, had to beat Federer to get his first Olympic gold, had to beat Djokovic for his world tours final victory, he has beaten those tgree greatest on their best surfaces.

His winning Davis Cup contribution in one year is similar to John McEnroe's and they stand on the highest level as near equals on that.

As a male singles Olympic tennis player, no-one matches him so far for repetition of such a high level - on the second one when he beat del Potro, del Potro had beaten Nadal and Djokovic en route and himself is far better than the number of slams (1) he won.

It is highly likely that we have both used the same chippy though not at the same time, the Allanwatwr cafe in Bridge of Allan, between Stirling and Dunblane - also a take away fish and chips is epically good. 🥁

Banbury, you are often boring. Cram was at his best when he was wearing nikes.... that doesn't mean they were better than his subsequent competive footwear, think a lot of it was to to do with timing. : )

Fair play - fish anf chips being a bit of a treat and that - fat cut potato chips sometimes healthier than some fries e.g . skinny fries but cooking methods choice of oil or oven baked might be relevant.

I once thought I was doing well - bought a proper large fish and chips with some mushy peas which I was going to enjoy with a French Open semi-final on between Nadal and Djokovic, got back home for latter part of afternoon - thoght I would catch start of match or at least early part for what I knew would be an epic. Well, I only got home (the chippy was and still is just yards from the station) by the start of the fith set which was top quality 80 minutes.

What happened was the French had decided to switch the schedule so that their home player: Tsonga would take on Ferrer in the evening match. Unfortunately for Tsonga the crowd needed a break after the previous intense battle and so for the first ten minutes of his semi-final Tsonga was playing in a quiet stadium - Ferrer for many years the world number four - when the big three were healthy, was on his best surface and so it would be a Ferrer v. Nadal final. Jim Courier described the previous semi-final as the best clay court match ever.

It perhaps makes sense given his fondness for sushi - which he had after winning the US open, but I read thst Murray said he would probably (back in those days) have the fish without batter.

Prepared in groundnut oil, the batter is not bloating in my opinion, I have more knowledge of food than cooking methods.

I reckon that runner I was thinking of had pasta as a staple, I remember her when she was good but past her peak - at her best always a contender and in the right race, was absolutely world class.

Oh yeah and in the same book which contained interviews regarding diet, Ovett had said "eat what you like!". He kind of proved it with a load of beer with the Irish after winning the 1980 - 800m, took the edge off a little bit perhaps for heats and then final of 1500m still to go, though the comment was not disrespectful to Coe - think they both would say they were too good not to each get a gold - whichever way round the track it went.

Not long afterwards, probably even at that time - though not in Moscow... 1980, Cram was quite partial to McDonalds - would have sometimes been fast food after a track session.

For balance, I reckon serious chess players will sometimes build up an appetite during matches or practise, ultimately we all do when using our brains and such stuff with some variety is all relative.

I don't think the oily fish, very early am, helped my brain enough... I meant... all relative. : )

Also, by coincidence, the interval between my previous two posts would have been a very good time for 3000m and if, with most of thirty seconds on (would have been approximate to the then world record) and thus... a fair reflection. : )

Woops - Fish and chips....

It is a balanced meal and it saved lives during world war 2, it wasn't rationed and a sometimes inconsistent but all things considered strong supply during those years - perhaps protected or indirectly protected by the most powerful navy in the world.

With gherkin(s), peas or salad there might be some other benefits, I get sone ready to eat, cooked in groundnut oil from time to time.

Speaking of times : ) there was an international GB runner who used to compete at 3000m before it was replaced with with women's 5000m during the summer track season, at championship level, she was always a good interviewee - didn't have to be at race weight during the winter when it was often fish and chips every week - maybe a rarer treat during the summer, higher mileage during the winter, a little bit more fat might have been useful during the endurance phase - all relevant.

Theeeduke's post which I referred to in my previous two posts early am today was on the "Copper" thread at 15:11 on 28/10/25 - from memory I think the possibly relevant words were: "we are in to audit period".

That little bit of research wasn't a waste of time - five minute search, had been having anchioves on toast with dry roasted peanuts and a sports direct mug of tea, often eat fish with high omega 3 content after moving iron ore - up to what I consider to be a reasonable multiple of such in a week and personally I would not go beyond that - which was with regard to the fish but applies to the exercise as well.

Re. 18:46: As I said on the other thread - 00:40, in very recent days Theeeduke posted content of an implied email from someone who would definitely know from RRR's perspective if were being auidited - whch was the perspectve that was written from - it was not implied email content from Helpful but he likely read that post. I am not surprised that audit could be occurring at the moment and following Theeeduke's post, I am not surprised to subsequently read the opinion that an audit is occurring.

In very recent days Theeeduke posted what was implied content of an email from someone who would defitinitely know if RRR was undergoing an audit or not - content of which said we were being audited - content of which was not from Helpful but he likely read that post, I know I did so whilst I wouldn't be surprised such background acitvity was occurring, I was unsurprised to read the opinion that such background activity was occurring.

Aimdogs, you were right about "first batch" - I thought that had also been said in the context of opinion but it had been said with the aspect of certainty, without bias as to result, other than it would be hopefully resolved quickly - which might be some kind of ratio proportional to a few years. How it proports to weeks and months might be interesting or maybe not. : )

It was a positive RNS from RRR that day - 15/01/25. I read the post from Helpful that day - clearly enthused but also some humour designed to wind up a naysayer or two - that part of which proved to be true.

... And by "quite recent posts" I mean since spring 2024.

Helpful started postimg on RRR in november 2017, through to early 2022 the share price dropped very little compared to his first post - 10/11/17 within the first hour of trading - second half hour of that hour - price same as what it opened that day 0.58, second post by Hepful that day 0.625. It would clear 1p at least intra day - first quater of 2018 and cleared 1p earlier months of 2020.

Banbury - according to his posting history first posted on RRR shat chat in 2021, I don't recall more than a couple or so such posts in 2021, there was at leasr 1 but can't remember for certain if there was more than that.

Banbury started regularly posting on RRR in 2022, there was a day in 2022 early in Spec's RRR posting when Banbury was also posting - think it was the same thread and that - approximately - from memory is when Banbury started regularly posting on RRR.

Also Helpful has bought shares in RRR at some point likely since 13/03/24 - mentioned in one of his quite recent posts.
