You failed to understand my main point regarding Britbox. If ITV and the BBC were to put their soaps Eastenders, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street exclusively on to Britbox, this IMHO would attract millions of subscribers overnight. And would be able to charge a higher subscription fee.

You clearly don’t like ITV’s CEO, yet she has got a good track record. You could say that she’s been very successful in her career.

IMHO, ITV and the BBC should put their soaps on Britbox and charge £20 per month subscription, not the very low £5 per month touted. This would instantly boost subscribers in there millions, and send the share price up above 200p. That's what I would do if I was the CEO of ITV.

I thought last week that ITV had turned a corner with a recovery in the share price after reporting 2018 results. Sadly it looks like I can think again.

IMHO, once the Liberty Global European asset sales are completed Liberty will be in a cash strong position. At this stage it will be now or never regarding their interest in ITV. Of cause others could make move before Liberty are in a position to make a move. We could be in for an interesting summer, I hope so. JMO.

Looks like Liberty is boosting its war chest further, with further sales of European assets along with the big sale to Vodafone. This would give Liberty the opportunity to pay down its debt and also purchase ITV. I would have thought that any potential acquirer of ITV would want to make a move before ITV gets into bed with the BBC with Britbox.

I would agree with you regarding ITV’s results not being too bad, in-fact, slightly beating market expectations. Let’s hope that Britbox is a success and transforms ITV. GL.
