Hi PM,

I've got a family member who is with BT, and only just became a qualified BT engineer within the last 6 months. In your opinion do you thing that these compulsory redundancies will effect new employers first? In other words last in first out?

My comment on the 1st of June below would suggest otherwise. With the BT share price going up 13.45p over the week.

The posts below dated 1st June speak for themselves, its there in black and white.

I'm not trying to blow my own trumpet, I wouldn't do that. I'm just pointing out that Velo and myself had a conversation, and we both thought that the BT share price had exhausted sellers.

Velo…."Well it's over. This decline. IMO the bears lost the war today. I'm prepared to be that conclusive."

I enclose above a reply from Velo to myself a week ago 1st June. Regarding the BT decline in the share price maybe/being over. I think that you’re being a little harsh on Velo, if you don’t mind me saying. He, along with myself did call it right and has been advising that the SP was oversold in a few previous posts. JMO.

Closed up 2% on the UK closing price, so we should start positively this morning.

I can recommend an alternative to Google for live streaming share prices, courtesy of Harris Tweed over on the ADVFN board. you will have to register on uk.investing.com and enter your portfolio of shares. But I would say that this site is a better service than Google, with prices changing every second. Give it a try guys, and see what you think. Cheers.

DB was right, I've changed my browser to Google Chrome from Internet Explorer, and BINGO, it now updates every minute.

Google used to update every share price movement every few seconds, but since they upgraded their system it doesn't update for me now. It's strange that you say that Google updates share prices ok for you? I'm having to constantly hit the refresh button for the share price update. Cheers.

Can anyone recommend a website that offers free live streaming share prices? I used to use moneyam that used to offer this service for free, before they were taken over by sharesmagazine, who stopped it. I don’t want to have to subscribe for this service. I know that Google offer a free service, but it’s not has good as it used to be, because it doesn’t update the live prices anymore, without constantly hitting the refresh button. Thanks in advance.

All this uncertainty is bad for markets. MP's have a lot to answer for, with the Brexit mess.

That would save £65mln, and that's just for starters. I don't think that BBC are has committed to BritBox as ITV are. JMO.

Just checked up the closing ADR share price in the US, and see that it closed up 16 cents, that's 23 cents, or 1.7% more than at 16.30pm the closing UK time. Although, this was on low volume of shares traded. A good sign though for Monday. fingers crossed.
