I can see a boost to advertising once Brexit is sorted out, this giving a boost to the share price. JMO of cause.

I agree with the Fool that you most probably won't double your money with ITV, that would give a share price of 270p. Unless ITV receives a takeover bid. I believe ITV will see 180p to 200p once Brexit is sorted out.

Chart looking very good.... Once we break through 140p... Then we will be looking at a lot higher. Next weeks Q3 results could shoot ITV to the stars. JMO of cause. Happy to hold.

ITV Rugby World Cup final coverage most watched tv moment of 2019

ITV's exclusive coverage of yesterday's Rugby World Cup Final reached an audience peak of 12.8m viewers making it the most watched TV moment of 2019 on any channel. This was the biggest audience for a rugby match since the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final [also between England and South Africa].

79 per cent of the audience watching television yesterday morning tuned in to see England's defeat to South Africa in the match in Yokohama.

And the average audience across the broadcast of ITV's coverage was 8.9m [67 per cent audience share] making the Final the most watched sports programme since the Football World Cup on any channel

Looks to me DFS, that ITV don't want to drop. Any weakness in the share price today has been taken up.

I think that we may have to wait on the Q3 trading statement on 12th Nov for that. Good results could see ITV head a lot higher from this still oversold price. JMO of cause.

BT tackled over bid for Champions League TV rights
BT’s bosses face scrutiny over their turnaround plans this week as the broadcaster prepares to bid again for its Champions League TV rights.

In 2017, the telecoms giant paid £1.2bn for exclusive rights to televise the tournament and the Europa League for three years.

Bids need to be submitted to Uefa by November 11 to air the matches between 2021 and 2024. ITV and Sky are both expected to try to snatch the rights from BT Sport.

Philip Jansen, BT’s chief, has already told investors it will be “very disciplined” when it tables its offer. Speculation in recent months about a cut to BT’s dividend has increased the pressure on it to bid prudently.

BT has also made a bold — and expensive — pledge to accelerate its fibre broadband roll-out. It now aims to reach at least 15m homes by the mid 2020s — up from the 10m premises initially planned.

Paolo Pescatore, an analyst at PP Foresight, said the Champions League renewal was a “must win” for BT.

However, he added: “It can’t afford to spend more than the previous auction, which might be a challenge due to potential new players.”

BT Sport's exclusive rights to air the Champions League may be coming to an end from 2021, as ITV and Sky are set to mount a bid, according to The Times.

In 2017, BT Sport extended their deal to exclusively broadcast Europe's top club competition until 2021 in a deal worth £1.18billion.

Sky and ITV used to share rights to the Champions League until 2015, and the broadcasters are reportedly about to pose ' a serious challenge' to BT Sport for the 2021-2024 rights.

If Liberty don't want ITV and ballsachs are long of untold millions of shares in the company why not start moving the price North and then any interested parties will have to 'bid up' for the company."

ITV closed the week down 1.50p.... However, including the 2.60p dividend... ITV closed up 1.10p. I'm looking forward to breaking above 140p next week.
