The ones to watch out for are Blackrock & MarshallWace; they generally get things right more times than they get it wrong. The Shorters generally do very careful research prior to taking a position. JPNEB - I have just picked up a few more. This is a highly speculative share; however, I like the team and, potential (but not guaranteed) upside.

BSR - It is most certainly your lucky day. You will not have to take the time, trouble and expense to travel all the way to Cameroon. We are waiting for the licence. Generally, most African countries are fair-minded and reasonable (but not all). However, it can be unwise to start throwing your weight around since they will be upset and give the renewal of a licence to another company. This type of investment is high risk; however, the rewards may well be worth the wait.

Warren Buffet is old, however, far wiser than most investors. Most of the directors are not salaried; they are rewarded with shares. BSR, what would you do differently?

BSR, Asher is very experienced and has a lot more to lose financially than you! He owns over 20% of the shares (the last time I looked). At the last AGM I attended, he answered the questions clearly. A younger person would have neither of these qualities. I await the next RNS with great interest.

There is no point in contacting JA. If there is an important announcement, this has to be in the form of an RNS. He would not break the rules of insider trading i.e. SUPSI (specific unpublished price sensitive information).

Having been in this company for many years, they have one good use, TAX LOSSES to offset my Capital Gains. I am out of the market now apart from one other small cap oil company. Good luck to you all.
