Hi Cacher here's the link and I realise it's not about APF, whoops sorry, ECOR but I do feel the comments are related to us.
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/999256/glencore-the-best-mining-pick-for-2023-reckons-deutsche-bank-999256.html
I too am not over-keen on the name as it seems just lost with many others. If you do a search for the company using ECOR it picks up lots of other rubbish. Maybe it's just me being an LTH since 2017 when I used to read Buzz's comments every day about the price of coal etc and how he recommended APF.
In the Proactive mining highlights 26/11/22 there is a statement. Note I'm not publicising the company here!
???? is the best pick in the mining sector heading into 2023, according to Deutsche Bank, which expects a shortage of battery metals to come to a head over the next twelve months.
“There is not enough supply to meet future energy transition-related demand,” said the bank's analysts in a note, highlighting the group's cobalt division.
This statement is a very positive one for Ecora in 2023 and I hope the SP will pick up and get into the 180 - 230 soon.
Dear B Blue, we know exactly what is happening in the world and if anything we could say would make a difference we would do it. If I could spend £10/20/50,000 and make it all better I would happily do it. I have Ukrainian/Russian relations, my son’s best man is out with a charity training medical staff and every day you wonder if we’ll get the telegram.
We all have to get rid of the Russian trolls on here but we need to sit and wait for the outcome as we can not change it.
Stamping your feet, arguing, and constantly thinking things through / ruminating causes anxiety and depression. Please let it go for your health and talk to us about your relaxed and enjoyable gardening.
@Sagacity thank you for that information and the clip to read. I totally agree with everything you say and I'm thankful for the many past people who developed/set up the area/lifestyle I was born in.
I keep wondering just how many more POLY shares I can buy, as already it's very top-heavy trying to get my average down. All against the principles and thoughts of share risk-taking. Please keep up the good positive news it helps me sleep better. :-)

The Sukari gold mine in Egypt has higher-grade zones to support short-term options for mill feed improvements and has made significant progress on its exploration strategy, according to Peel Hunt.
The Sukari gold mine in Egypt has higher-grade zones to support short-term options for mill feed improvements, said analysts at the broker.
Additionally, the mine offers the opportunity for a life of mine (LOM) extension and increased production.
“We believe the underground program demonstrates the continued high-grade nature of the deposits, further supporting not only further LOM extensions but also increased underground production.”
Newly drilled high-grade bonanza zones near existing Sukari infrastructure returned intersects of 10m @ 64g/t, 5m @ 267g/t and 17m @ 10g/t, all of which have the potential to increase flexibility for the Sukari mill feed options.
Further prospects within 10km of Sukari's mill have been explored.
Initial results from two targets have shown the potential to supplement the mill feed in the short-to-medium term.
Centamin has also completed a 100,000m conversion drill program at the Doropo project, with the goal of converting the majority of the inferred resource to the indicated category.
Plant design, metallurgical testing and geotechnical drilling are all in the final phases.
A pre-feasibility study is expected in Q4-2022.
Finally, the broker mentions that exploration has begun at Centamin’s Eastern Desert exploration licenses in Egypt.
The EDX Blocks, awarded in 2021 comprise 3,000km2 of highly prospective greenfield exploration tenements within the Egyptian section of the Arabian Nubian Shield.
The target price has been set at 130p, with a buy rating.

@Newdealz I do agree with you and look forward to some wonderful updates, as like many other LTH I'm hurting badly.
I do feel a bit sad that you're not able to chat with your friend, if I remember correctly you were going to see him in Russia until THIS happened. I hope common sense and the world wanting to save itself will prevail. Similarly to the ideas of climate change. (I must say this very quietly in case anyone starts arguing). :-)
Thank you for the great post today @Newdealz, and others. I’m so looking forward to no more than 20 comments a day. Some say the war will be 3 years and we can’t suffer 3 years of the nonsense on this Poly board?
Please do not encourage B Blue as his comments about the destruction of Russia play directly into the hands of Vladimir Putin. Even the nice educated Russians wonder if/when we’re going to attack them. If you want to hurt Russia encourage the country to split into different sections/countries and then they can use the money to help the citizens have a better life, as many dream of this when watching TV, etc. Then POLY can keep mining and developing in Russia.
GLA & DYOR
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet.
https://www.thearmchairtrader.com/centamin-shares-recover-2h22/
Centamin’s principal asset, the Sukari Gold Mine, is a long-life, bulk tonnage open pit and underground operation located approximately 700km from Cairo and 25km from the Red Sea. It began production in 2009 and is the first large-scale modern gold mine in Egypt, forecast to produce more than 400,000oz per annum. Earlier this year Sukari produced its five millionth ounce, according to Centamin. The Sukari Gold Mine has a life of mine of at least 12 years, with eight years of underground mining and 5.8moz in proved gold reserves. Additionally, Centamin holds 3,000km2 of new exploration licenses across Egypt.
Centamin is also developing the Batie West Project in Burkina Faso (2.1moz inferred reserve), as well as the Doropo (5.3moz estimated reserve) and ABC (2.16moz inferred reserve) projects located in Côte d’Ivoire. Undoubtedly, Doropo is the largest of these projects, consisting of seven exploration permits, covering an area of approximately 1,850km2 in the northeastern part of Côte d’Ivoire. A PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment) completed in 2021 has suggested that the project has the potential to average annual gold production of 207,800oz for the first five years, with a total life-of-mine of 13 years.
Why have Centamin Shares Fallen in Value?
Centamin’s share price has fallen drastically since it reached a record-high peak in August 2020, when the company’s stock was valued at 220p. Today, it is struggling at just under 80p a share, falling almost 25% in the past year. Although the macroeconomic headwinds witnessed throughout 2022 have played a part in Centamin’s stock price decline, some of the company’s operational failings have also been a significant factor.
In April, the Jersey-registered miner said that full-year profits had halved on the back of forecast lower revenue and impairment on assets in Burkina Faso. This has resulted in a return on capital invested falling from 19% five years ago to 11% today, well below the industry average of 15%. It is likely that this has put quite a few investors off the company.
What do Centamin’s Investment Prospects Look Like?
Centamin has a consistent record of financial performance with revenue and profit growth achieved consistently over the past half-decade. Since 2017, the company has always earned over $600m in annual revenue, together with a positive net income at least exceeding $50m. It is difficult to see this changing in the upcoming years.
Centamin also has no existing debt on its balance sheet currently, which gives the company a great deal of financial flexibility with regard to investments in future mining projects. Its dividend yield stands at 9.05%, further incentivising investors to purchase the stock.
With such high levels of inflation being seen in today’s economy, it is well worth considering investing in a gold mining company such as Centami
Sagacity & Remoor, great posts and I agree with you about the split. I think it’s best for Poly NOT to split. Plus IMHO I think the BoD do as well. They talked about it as a desperate point but as long as the outcome of the war is not in Russia's favour the sections will be eased off making Poly able to continue its work in Russia.
From Polly website.
Development
AMURSK POX-2, - Khabarovsk Region, Russia
PROGNOZ - Verkhoyansk, Republic of Sakha, Yakutia, Russia
Evaluation
VEDUGA, - Krasnoyarsk Region, Russia
Exploration
VIKSHA, - Republic of Karelia, Russia
These three areas are part of the value of the sp and must not be ignored.
Can any LTH remember where they had found rare metals in Russia and were thinking of evaluating them for mining? All these things will develop POLY into a more sophisticated company which will mean it's not totally reliant on the value of gold and silver.
Jotom thank you for writing that, If I had the time I too would have tried to say something very similar. Have a great weekend. Ps, I'm filtered by Chique so he's not see it :-)
Sorry, it's taken so long to reply. I have work to do and can't understand who has time to post ALL day.
@Alicia - thank you so much for your sympathy. My wife suffers terribly, can’t hear anything about the war and mustn’t talk to her parents about it in case anything is then accidentally said to their neighbours. She worshipped Putin but now realises how her life was 30 years of selection and misinformation. She feels so ashamed to be Russian.
@only1 - ’The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine started in 2014. Between then and early 2022, it had already killed over 14,000 people.’
Yes, we do and we've been worried for a long time. Sanctions were introduced but it was hoped Ukraine could solve its own issues. In Donbas, you dare not let your daughter out on her own and at night, never. The new TV never got delivered as taken from the driver. Russian soldiers, but certainly people in control? Complaints about the cannon fodder, boys/men, in the military hospital in Peter. NATO/UN is not allowed to send in troops but VP does as he’s paid for it to start!
@jotom you’re running rings around only1. Good posts.
@panda – I do agree with some of your points and thank you for the relevant information supplied. Ukraine could finally lose some land in negotiations but if you look into the ceasefires in Donbas they never stayed long. People have bad memories and hatred. Due to this VP will have to Ethnic cleanse the Ukr people on his new stolen land and buy/bring in Ru people. Sanctions will remain to cripple Ru and unfortunately hurt the people, not VP he’s too wealthy.
@hopeful – I’m proud of you and wish the world could be that strong to help Ukraine but I feel we may not as it’s too economically painful which VP hopes/knows/his supporters keep telling us. They need us to give in and NOT be strong. That's why they’re on this BB!
@sworaf – good honest post. I’ve been listening to him for ages. I may not like what I hear but how can a very small army take on a once considered world-class army. IMHO their military sales will nearly disappear. This war has been very bad publicity for them. Some talk that the day of the tank is gone with today's drones and missiles! If Ru doesn’t make something happen quick they’ll get an uprising from all the others they’ve squashed.
In your military circles have you heard talk about China having exercises up North? They have 500,000 farmers in East Ru who’ve been badly treated by Ru officials. While the cats badly hurt …….?
IMHO
DYOR
GLA Poly LT holders.
@Jotom, 09.34 love your words.
@Roxy, I agree with you. However being paid to put forward a certain view, IMHO, is not productive for our Poly BB. I want the quiet days back again.
@Ollps, I understand. 4 years of really good Poly comments and NO opinions from me as I don’t have that time. How fantastic! If only we could get rid of the paid trolls then I believe things would be a quitter.
@Alicia, I too like people to be honest. State why they have that opinion, and then we can judge their opinions. Russian wife, so I know how badly the sanctions are hurting – 20+% rise in costs. I don’t feel the normal Russian people deserve that, I respect these people but now hate VP + his mate. A close friend of the family, a UK charity, is out in Ukraine helping train and organise the medical situation there.
@Hopefull, I’m hopeful that peace is ASAP. However I don’t like BULLIES or what I can consider is stealing land, IMHO, for no good reason. NATO – Ukraine said they would not join but the war still goes on. Kill all the Nazis - they’ve destroyed the Azov battalion – but the war still goes on. Please, someone, explain why, or will that go into another 100+ posts?
Midway
I understand your feelings and it’s good that Chique shows his true inner feelings.
A believer in ‘The wonder man Vladimir Putin’.
Many Russian trolls on here very much hide behind a mask sneaking in anti-Ukraine comments.
Spoke today to my Russian mother-in-law and VP has increased pensions & benefits by 10% which must be encouraged. However, they once used to save a bit but cannot now, SANCTIONS are biting.
You need to understand that the Ru Trolls have limited capacity to realise that BECAUSE no one trusts VP it is THAT reason they’ve all joined NATO. No country wants their military guided by others but if they do not unify then VP takes his opportunity to control their lands and kills anyone who opposes him.
HI Chique
Thank you for that. As you can see from the points you have posted and stated you look at things in a totally selfish way.
Unfortunately for some, I’m not one of those people so I’ll put an opinion forward that you may dislike and it's your right to filter me. How the people in Russia wished they had that choice in their news
" Russia need to lose or they will just try again "
Please!! if we wanted this rubbish we would all watch sky news or Zelensky - at least he's a comedian
&
Popansya falling and pretty much all ukraine forces pinned down and immobile in the fields could bring on negotiations more - OR Putin coup
Don't really care which it is as long as it ends war - purely selfish motives”
I'd like the war to end as well but not with Ukraine being humiliated.
GL with making your millions.
Hi Annon
I’m very glad you’ve openly stated your opinion and thoughts. II know many of the people I talked to in St Pete had the same opinion and I was generally of that opinion until I talked to people from Lithuania and Latvia. I’ve not spoken to a group of Estonian people so I cant have an opinion on that. The people from Lithuania and Latvia have many Russian citizens who used to control Nuclear power stations, the government, etc. They are very happy for these people and in some ways miss being part of the USSR. However, it does/did cause them worries when VP was walking into other countries like Georgia, etc so they HAD to join NATO to keep their independence.
NATO does not attack, it’s a defence group so there should be NO worries for the Russians.
Today wars are all missiles etc so 200 yds or 1,000 miles makes little difference. Russia just proved that!
I do agree on it unsettles Russia and may not have been the best move but after WWII when USSR would not give the countries back to their home governments what else can they do.
GL with your investment and let us talk POLY, not war. I just don’t like people putting their ideas and not being truthful about why!
IMHO, DYOR & GLA
How easy is it for the Putin supporters to attack me with personal comments but again they cannot answer the questions? We know you'll never will because you can’t admit the TRUTH.
BE HONEST to tell the people on this BB where your true loyalties lie. I’ve told mine.
I bet none of you will.
I’ve read a few articles and it seems far more one-sided than any BBC article. I accept things are very difficult for the Ukraine soldiers. They’re fighting a huge army, just like the Russians did against Hitler. The UK help and supported Russia as we do generally try to with people who agree with our principles in life.
I want a good peace deal for Ukraine as VP + mates will steal whatever they can.
Kat2008
Zerohedge.com is a Russian propaganda paper as articles I’ve read state things like:-
'introduced Ukrainian comedian-cum-President Volodymyr Zelensky,'
'Back in the real world, Russia, slowly but surely has been rewriting the Art of Hybrid War.'
Does this sound like balanced comments? I'm happy to read even RT News but let's not pretend it's balanced.
Can we have some honesty on this Bulletin Board!
FA you talk to me as though you're an adult and keep telling me to - GROW UP. ??
The truth is you cant openly talk against Vladimir Putin + his mates.
I can have an opinion, but I can’t lie, about every politician in the UK because I’m British.
I can open say, which I know many will dislike, that I admire the Russian people and their land. I would like Poly very much to stay in Russia as it was and be there for many decades as there they should prosper.
I accept there is a need for a TRUE peace deal and I want lives to be saved so there must be a peace deal that tries to last forever.
However, I know I have to accept this with a heavy heart because I know a BULLY has won. Can we not all agree on this fact?
FA you keep skirting around a simple answer. YES or NO!
You still refuse to blame Vladimir Putin + his mates for anything like the deaths of many 1,000s of people and the destruction of the world economy, including Russia’s.
He’s even tried to blackmail the world, saying they must stop sanctions so only then will he let them have some food to feed the people. BULLY or not @FA?
So can I also ask do you blame Hitler for the destruction of Russia or is that something, ‘they just should have negotiated with him about,’ and let him have the land he wanted?
I’m sorry I can’t answer your thoughts quicker but I have to work.
As an LTH, I’ll not be making my fortune in this share as I’ve invested in POLY for some time. Knowing the Russian people and how hard they worked I believed long-term in the company. I just hadn’t realised VP + his mates had other ideas.
'What happens when you can't 'remove the aggressor?'
BigB I think that is harsh to Roxy. Roxy and FA are right that there will have to be some sort of compromise or the war will be like Vietnam where it lasts for 20 years and many more will die. However, to answer the question, this will mean Russia will be under full sanctions for 20+ years and will be constantly fighting the owners of the land/ they'll try to call them terrorists.
So NO quick fix/money made for Poly.
It's not right to make the Russian people suffer because one person, VP, wants to show how powerful he is and try to impress the world.
The world will/should blame Putin for the death of millions. If food is too expensive and disappears because of his PRIDE in NOT standing down in Ukraine. He started it, he caused it and he must finish it in the end. If he decides to stop the war when he's stolen the land he wants that will be up to Ukraine to decide if they are happy with that, nobody else.
FA by you not answering my question you are stating clearly you’re happy about the death of thousands of people caused by Putin. Is this true, if not then you and the whole world MUST condemn him?
One never totally believes the things websites say but: -
Simply Wall Street

Chippyjo your post at 13.19 today is a great post and I agree. St Pete and Moscow are the most developed with St Pete being the most western, except for their parking - ;0.
However, the 2 cities think they are evolutionary/educationally miles above the rest of Russia which explains that 95% of the soldiers fighting are from other parts of Ru and just cannon fodder. They know what’s happening, why, etc but are unable to do anything or even talk about it.
EG. One person told me after a night of vodka and some irritating incident he wrote on Facebook/online a political ****** remark. 30 mins later the police were knocking on his door. Complaining to me about human rights yet willing to deface others! NO sympathy from me!
May I thank all the others for your discussions with ActionJackass, Anon & the other lot who belong to the SEN section? Trying to develop their education is like hitting your head against a brick wall which is why I’ve often given up before I’ve started. Please do not get annoyed and stress yourself it's just not worth it. Please take a deep breath, go for a walk then hit them between the eyes but it'll not change their minds as they just don't understand life or common sense.
