Helium One "took the market by storm" [Gas World, 23.2.24] & Interview L.Blaisse, LSE, 22.2.2423 Feb 2024 20:46
The interview by Lorna Blaisse, CEO of Helium One yesterday with D.L. of London South East was a nice surprise. I have been watching a lot of interviews done by Minchin, former CEO of Helium One @Director's Talk, Malcolm Graham Wood, Crux Investors etc. He has dealt with many specifics eg markets, capex etc in rather great detail. In particular, he has covered PATH TO PRODUCTION /construction within a SHORT SPAN OF TIME from discovery. Therefore, prior to Lorna's interview yesterday, that was all one had to go on.
Lorna's interview CONFIRMED the "path to commercialisation" and "monetisation" and it would appear it will be via "PARTNER [s]". From this, on reflection, I gather this has been PLANNED QUITE A LONG TIME ago, even in Minchin's time. However, Lorna did indicate that some metrics have to be worked round and I think that the result was even better than previously expected ie Minchin's time. I am not sure but I will read it again.
Suffice to say, Mather said it take 16 YEARS TO GET A MINE[in general] to the stage of production ie copper & gold. Today, Master Investor's has written a new article about the CHALLENGES of having to raise billions for capex. So, pleased to hear Minchin say capex is $50m which is tiny in comparison.
LIFE CYCLE OF A JUNIOR MINER
In the chart, just when a junior is embarking on the journey to production, investors have long gone due to the length of time as said. Here, the situation is rather UNIQUE and a great welcome. For this reason, some will not be on this journey but it is one in which , a/c to text book , tutes may enter?
PARTNER
Lorna said a lot happening and many moving parts. So, I think one morning, one may wake up to news akin to all the other mining plays like at Cascabel , Havieron etc. Well, that is what the American VC based in the UK has tweeted which is based on what Lorna said ie news [partner etc?]. So, herein, is the state of play. News, 23 Feb 2024 [Fri] Share price 2.45p [mid] & mkt cap /£91m. Would be nice to have more MEDIA article in days to come. DYOR. NIA.
