This will only grow when we know if BBB is profitable.
O2 opened December 2021, I thought that would be a pure money making machine, but is it? Does it make money, or just wash it's face,
I thought Richard was all over commercial, but he seems more marketing and customer service. He even said in a recent interview they protected customers from price increases.... that's all well and good for footfall but not if they don't make money, he seems to be treating it like a social enterprise. So frustrating.
Pretty standard on a low cost holiday, same with electric wheelchairs, they are too big for a coach transfer as they take up all the luggage space.
She should have just booked a separate accessable transfer.
I'm not worried about the popularity of Escape Hunt dropping. You have to look at the year on year growth for the established Escape rooms.
If I'm not mistaken it's +17% and they still have the same games they installed 6 years ago. I don't think they are going anywhere. I did a VR one, it was brilliant and so many opportunities to develop those.
Nice to finish blue, first time in a very long time
I think it wasn't helpful that Richard said they absorbed most of the cost increases.
So stock, utilities and staffing go up but they hold prices....
Also the franchise model is looking shaky, is that 5 they have had to buy back now?
EBITDA is pointless though if the business is not turning a profit, they said they would by now, they haven't and Mr Market is punishing them for it.
All the pumpers have sold out now and a few long term investors left with a massive hole in their portfolio.
Shielded their customers from fixed cost increases, well done, what about shareholders.
It's only the brokers note that shows any honesty re profit.
It all just seems a bit sus to me, great business on paper when i invested, management have run it into the ground in 12 Months, really poor show.
i mean is that 4 profit warnings now? run by clowns
I think the Cardiff venue is a bit of a different beast. More of a nightclub venue, so you get the usual issues, people giving crappy reviews as they are refused entry, stuff like that.
May need a refurb though, I saw this yesterday so maybe they are working through the original venues

I'm not having a go, up to him what he does with his money.
Just saying you never heard Munger say he sold out because it was stuck in a range, I don't think the story has changed
I'm still hopeful. As the saying goes, I don't want to sell down here, still hopeful they are turning a profit
Let's hope it's not Keith West cashing in his chips, I wouldn't be surprised tbf
More likely to be Amarti continuing to sell down, which is one of three things
1. They have lost faith
2. They need the money
3 they know they will be able to replace them soon at a discount
