There is a restaurant near Coningsby in Lincolnshire who when he put in for permission to have it went into a legal battle with the guy across the road. He won the legal battle and in big letters called it GET STUFFED. Lol

I’m truly hoping that with the new investment share issue there is an after hours RNS with some excellent news so that those that have sold or still have shorts open are caught out. It would be brilliant to listen to the whining and whinging that would go on. No one can say that the company haven’t given us enough of a heads up about the sale/divi. Come on Piper bring it home.

I won’t be selling any of my shares regardless of the discussions on here or any negativity spouted off by the naysayers. If their take on this share makes someone cash in their tickets more fool them for being gullible as they couldn’t have done their research properly

Right now the only positive that I can get from this share is that the huge losses that I have 60+% will be able to be claimed against capital gains tax when I sell them. I don’t very often agree with some on this board but I can’t see this bod being able to turn this round in the short or medium term unless by fluke something falls in their lap. Shame really as when I first invested I’d done my homework and thought it would go places, other than down the swanny. I’d love to be proven wrong I really would but ………

It does seem as though every time the sp starts to venture upwards the big money boys either sell into it or it’s manipulated to appear as if the are big sells happening. I know it’s not a reflection on what will finally happen but I do get a little despondent at times when I see it.

That points to whoever buys whatever parts of that which we own is going to be reaping it in. Win win.

My dogs…. I like everyone fully expect news to land but I wouldn’t think (my opinion) that we’re going to get anything until the new shares are issued, otherwise I’d think that the new investor might get a bit miffed that he’s just about to invest loads of money in the company and he’s left out of a big payday. Just saying.

In my view there will be those that want both their cake and eat it. Of course they can sell their shares, invest elsewhere to try to gain more profits then buy back in here when it’s coming up to divi time. Only an opinion but it will undoubtedly work for some. Personally I’m going to stick with it as you just never know what’s round the corner with this bod.

Vod are a good company who has taken on too much debt. They also used to be market leaders. Now because they’ve used every penny that they can on their vision of the future they’ve slipped behind and don’t have the resources to be able to overtake the rest. Last week when we were at 141ish I was very hopeful that the market were starting to look kindly on us again and we would indeed get to the 150 - 160 mark. Enter our results and the market realised that Vod hadn’t really changed and put the past behind it and here we are back to 125. How long will it be before we see 140 again? I couldn’t be more disappointed really as I honestly believed we had turned a corner.
