Tilly, I agree with you there, perhaps he was a very well briefed bot and made sure that the thread was deleted in the full knowledge that it had some good info on it. I hope that his danglers get insect bites on them and become completely swollen the next time he sits on a public bog. ;-)

One very small problem that none of the politicians want to talk about is our power stations and their ability to supply the Giga watts of extra power that will be required if we all switched to electric cars in the near future. The realities of life are that we’ll be using our tried and trusted fossil fuel, petrol and diesel for years and years. I certainly won’t be buying an electric car until they’ll quite happily do a lot more miles on a single charge than they currently do.

dealer55, I’m inclined to agree with your sentiments. Currently the masses can afford to buy cars because of the PCP bubble, however, when that bubble bursts and people can’t take on debt in that manner the manufacturers of electric cars are going to have to either make them cheaper or come up with something very creative with the banks to sell them. A balancing act at best as people still need to be able to get about and the infrastructure of this country can’t cope with everyone trying to board a bus or train. We’ll need cars for a long time to come, I wonder if there’s a company out there that has PGMs for sale? :-)

Morning Ian and All, I hope everyone has a good day. I’ve just spent the last 3/4 of an hour reading the updated ECF report and trying to understand it more than I do. If that report doesn’t put us on a few more people’s hit list I don’t know what will. It’s very comprehensive but also by its own admission very conservative so our value is way north of where we are right now. Let’s have an updated broker note to reflect this new report and we aught to be seeing the sp return to something more realistic.

More painting for me today so I’ll have a little look during the day to stay abreast of what’s going on. If not before have a fantastic weekend everyone.

GFD, good words of support there, we are definitely in good hands and no one has stopped doing their day job to concentrate purely on the sale process. Dealer55, I hope your house purchases go through without too much of a hitch, it’s lawyer’s being thorough in their jobs that’s probably holding you up, imagine trying to be thorough getting this sale to a conclusion where people are ready to put their signature on the piece of paper. I know that no matter what gets said on here it’s not going to change your situation or your personal circumstances, but chin up mate, go and get some fresh air in your lungs for an hour or listen to your favourite music. You never know, it may just relieve some of the stress you’re under right now.

Morning Sax, Ian and All, another day closer for those of us that genuinely hold shares in EUA, will today bring excellent news or will it be another day of shenanigans? Only time will tell won’t it. Today is another day of watching paint dry for me as the skirting board is a nightmare. It is varnished and has got to be painted white, hence the amount of time it’s taking. But then as all genuine holders know, it will be worth the time, effort and patience.

That’s it I’ve finished my days painting and left her indoors putting some undercoat on some of the skirting board. I’ve only got tomorrow to go and I’m onto glossing, aren’t I the lucky one.

Today looks like it’s had its share of shenanigans again, but as usual some of the more astute posters have still managed to come up with some good positive stuff for everyone to read. Mugwump, if your prediction is correct I’ll donate a huge sum of money to British airways and Virgin Atlantic to let me see the wonders of the world and more :-). But then in reality I’m not expecting any more than a pound and even then I’ll feel extremely lucky if that’s the dividend. If it’s more that will be brilliant but I don’t want to build my hopes up and end up disappointed.

Keepwinning, it doesn’t matter how far it slips really, the value of this company is in the ground and that isn’t going anywhere is it? I really don’t know what the problem is as we all know that the sale/part sale/JV will happen so why not do something constructive like watch some paint dry like me :-)

I’m using a water based quick drying gloss and it seems quite forgiving so I’m quite happy with what I’ve done so far. As you say Les I am literally watching paint dry :-). The undercoating is my least favourite bit of the whole job, but I’m leaving the skirting board to her indoors, one slip and it’s a new carpet and we all know how many carpet shops you have to go round to find exactly the right colour:-(.
