Thanks yeah makes sense.I was always aiming to keep 20k for 2 years or more whatever it takes to be pre covid etc.We will all have to ready to sell if second outbreak start up and European countries lock boarders.Anyone got a crystal ball ?

I would appreciate some advice pls,I'm aiming to hold long term say 20k and sell my other 20k when airbridges are announced and at least European flights resume.

I bought in yesterday at 429 I wished I had had the balls to buy tui and iag back in march/april but seemed to risky at the time as it seemed like no flights and hols until next year.Oh well I think my self lucky I wasnt in the stock market before covid.

American airlines stock hasn't declined any further since nyse opened seems to have steadied out but did drop does that mean we will drop tomorrow?

Both have risen from the drop a few hours ago when I checked just now.Hopefully steady tomorrow or rise.

Both seem to have picked up from the recent drop off today which impacted ftse near close hopefully tomorrow will have another rise.

I agree still a solid company I also think people are seeing doom regarding carbon zero crap by 2050 and thinking oil giants are gonnas.News report on tv just now "IS this the end for oil,start of net zero.The ironic thing is making hybrid cars the battery etc,generating electricity if majority of cars are fully electric will pollute more than a eco petrol vehicle for example vw up blu motion.

Once a dividend reduction is announced which surely seems likely,yeah I think with uncertainty of demand and cuts ending on end of june or july seems bleak.

I think I'm staying out of BP and shell for now.
We all knew q2 results and announcements were going to be bad.I might be tempted if they dropped further though tricky one

Everything seemed to increase abit from 4PM
I was aiming to buy more at 2.50 didnt get there today though.

Dow futures down 500 plus

hopefully a fair increase and stays steady until air bridges confirmed in uk then another rise.We just need no increase or bad news from China or global increases in infections.
