If they do gone down rights issue road am I correct in reading that it wouldn't be until September?
Regardless if they announceme rights issue going ahead in future sp will drop just on the news.

I'm in at 2.60 a while back,my initial aim was to hold long term 2 years or more.
More recently I thought sell before winter incase there is a second wave and virus prefers winter conditions/normal flu mistaken as covid by thousands.
Chances of selling before winter even to break even at 2.60 is looking awful.
In all honesty I'm considering selling before results and taking a big hit and buying the big dip.

Alot of talk about this,is likely to be confirmed or not mentioned in results on Friday?
I guess figures will indicate if a fund raise is needed or not.

I'm in at an average of 70p ish I always aimed to hold long term.Im now tempted to sell at anything above 70p if it gets there before winter.
1 pound now seems along way off but as weve seen this can rapidly increase.

Ok thanks for clarifying,plenty of time to see market reaction on friday before close then.

Sadly I think it will return to the 1.60 area over the course of this week.Then again that was when no planes were flying and no air bridges etc.Wait until friday or next monday for real market reaction.
Does anyone know if results are due before close on friday ?

Out of pure boredom in this crap weather I had a scan around on the radar 2 ba flights to jfk and a couple to Miami possibly more ba flights if I had looked in more detail.There are certainly alot of planes going in and out of america,american airlines and delta going from Heathrow and Europe etc.
Who knows if they were full.

From my understanding even if they do proceed with it,it would be end of the summer/autumn.

I was hoping for £9 by end of august/sept but I'm very optimistic now.Then again it did jump from 6.70 to 8.90 in a short time period in june.
Positive vaccine news is what we need I've heard talk of vaccine could be ready by end of the year
Operative word being COULD.

I'm in a similar position bought in at high 300's sold at 4.60 made a nice profit.However bought back in at 4.51 thinking the announcement about air bridges and confirmation of countries without quarantine etc would give it a boost to 5.00 but I F####t that up didnt I.
Hold until next year depending on global situation.
If I can sell at a slight profit or break even short term I want out before winter for obvious reasons.

If american cases decrease and they open up to tourists etc surely 300 plus.
I really hope it doesn't dip down to 100's again but I always planned long term hold.
I bought back in at 2.58 a few weeks ago after taking profit.

Thanks for the advice my thoughts were it might drop again in winter due to fear and less demand but as you say vaccine and if global cases decline especially usa etc then it wont dip again.

Fair point only if usa and further a field open up ?
As we all know once long hauls return it will jump.
Perhaps I will sell the rest and keep iag then.
