Why was it appalling? JP in their own reasoning statement of yet another downgrade they made was to suggest EXACTLY what Erginbilgic hinted at yesterday (bad news in Feb, more cost cutting etc).

Warren never gave us that detail. He suggested the post covid 'back to long haul' would solve RR's balance sheet.

I truly admire Erginbilgic's technique here. As others have suggested, he's max of 3 years in this company. He needs to go balls deep in showing the problems with RR that can then be turned into massive positive come 2025 and onwards....

My philosophy in business (and yes, I'm only a cat but....) has alway been; "Flood the table with the real bad news and then work hard to push it off the edges".

In the end, you 'should' have a good business. In this case, we're building of RR. An amazing company with the biggest amount of R&D I have ever witnessed.

This isn't a maybe.

This is a guarantee.

It's a very interesting question. We all know the UK government own a 'golden share' in RR Holdings. This is a 'share', through previous bailouts, that allow the UK Government to have an over riding decision on any economical position of the company that will (if used correctly) not allow any hostile bid for the company.

Take from that what you will. Gordon Brown sold our Gold at the bottom level - I wouldn't put anything passed this current government to negate their own golden share to balance their own treasury books.

Retail share holdings of RR Holdings PCS is around 18% which means hedges and pensions (et al) are about 82%.

Any new SEO will take that one time opportunity go head strong on an announcement to get the majority on board.
The majority here not being retail shareholders.

If you look at it from that perspective, he's said EVERYTHING that was needed to be said to gain the trust of the hedge holders - those currently holding and those he wants to attract.

Feb accounts will prove to be neutral/very minimally positive, but the real point of voicing such a harsh diagnostic of RR Holdings current situation was to say that he's not afraid to make changes that will finally instigate a dividend, raise the SP to a reasonable amount for ALL holders but more importantly, make the company viable for new investment.

Feb 2025 it's £7 - I told JTT that, and I'm sticking to my paws.

Make your decision to fill up prior to that as you see fit - but those the facts.

He's a cost cutting guy. Prior to Erginbilgic I'd had said Q4 this year but not now.

All good - JPM suggest this is bad news, I'd say it's the best news shareholders could wish for - it means we have a boss who gives a crap about the business. Imagine RR with next to zero debt.... that's my £7 share right there.

Q2 of 2024 and I'd say we're getting that dividend.

Double funding of MCap suggests KOD SP forecast cannot be suggested realistically.

Hold tight (invest more at this low price), wait for the new level, and then decide your exit/profit taking.

Personally, since investing at 0.09p in March 2021, I was looking at a 10p exit.

The lower the SP, the more decent LTH investors can fill up at low prices.

My out is Feb 2025. I want this stock to be as low as possible before then.

I managed to get this at 0.09p back in March of 2021. I would have loved to have bought more (in hindsight) but hey, what a cracking hold this turned out to be. Looks like there is currently no ceiling now the good news is out.

15th Sept 2008, Moody's downgraded Lehman to Junk, exposing the disgraceful financial situation Lehman Bros, et al, were trading in. Moody's wanted to be in the clear.

Moody's continued to scratch the backs of hedge funds. Most recent was the ESMA fining Moody's €3.7m for conflict of interest failures in 2021.

If you pay any attention to credit rating agencies, that attention should be focused on who is backing them.

JP had funds managers crying at them for shorts at 60p. A lot of those shorts have gone.... some still remain. They raise to 70p.

You don't have to be a super clever cat like me to work out the agenda here.

R101 - I'm Nettles, not JTT. JTT is currently focused on 'other things'.

In answer to your questions:
• reabold (at a loss still) - so am I! It's a hold for gold or a flop. We shall both see soon - this is one one those shares that goes huge in a daily transaction (like 500% up) so keep the faith brother.

• nanoco - was up to 70p after out of court settlement then they where advised to issue guidance to say "Hey chaps, we're going to take the share off the AIM unless you settle this storm..... over night, we got a very negative "settlement at lower value", SP went back to 40p, and now 37p? Settlement is £200m in my humble cat opinion. When announced in Feb 6th, share will go back to 70p.

- argo blockchain - No idea, will never entertain this share.

- PayPal - No idea, will never entertain this share.

- IAG - I [Nettles] have a rather large amount in IAG and TUI (I got JTT to buy equal amounts at the same time). Long hold but Bothe will be £4 post 2025.

Back on topic Badland (hello by the way), it's very important to recognise personal targets, so a great post.

My personal target (I'm a cat) is to have those who decide to live in MY house happy. JTT says he 'knows' RR is £7. When I beat him at chess (daily) I remind him I told him £7 was a true figure prior to Brexit and covid.

Is £7 a true figure now (for Feb 2025)? Well, yes - it is, maybe even more so.

JTT has any issue with RR SMR LTD outlay and the fact that shareholders of RR PLC (you chaps) will see jack for years to come.

So I reminded JTT to focus on long haul flying hours. He took his head out the blanket and said "Yep, you're right".

So all that said, JTT and I are £7 Feb 2025.
