There are far too many questions about this getting to my £7 goal come Feb 2025.

Before RR, I invested in Tesla... I had a business with an associate and we'd put all profits into Tesla shares when it was pennies.

He wasn't a cat. He was a rat... but I loved him.

The rest is history.

RR is a UK Tesla.... (don't even think about questioning that!).

33p RI? £1? £2? all very embarrassing figures. It's £7 (70bln MCap).

Even RR being 70bln Mcap is funny! It's a trillion dollar company now (not even 2025). You shooters don't know that, which is fine, but it is.

Anyway, you guys continue to knee jerk and change your nappies..... the rest of us will cash out at £7 come Feb 2025!

Any newbies/youngsters looking at this post - there is a time to buy shares. And I'm not talking about spread betting, RRx3 etc (whatever their called), I'm talking about actually buying a share in a company.

I'm 56% on a 3 year personal profile. I can't get my financial advisor at SJP to get close to that and I pay him!

100% - you've done the maths so only fair I give you my reasoning.

I've just checked and my first RR order was 16/09/2020 at a price of 189p. Multiple orders thereafter, including the RI got me to an average of around 89p. I've since bought at 147p so I'm probably around 92p now.

I have ALWAYS stated this would be £7 (or equivalent) come Feb 2025. My reasoning is simple. It will be a 70bln MCap business then, based on everything RR did in terms of R&D.

10 years of R&D is gold dust and everyone had forgotten about it. The reason they win the contracts they win now, and up to 2025 is due to their ability to show the value of this R&D.... an end product if you will.
That was always going to win contracts over competitors not able to show the same skill set.

And thus we have what we have now.... OK, a few global market issues need sorting out, but RR will be absolutely booming coming 2024. I really don't want to sell in 2025 to be honest as I'm sure the 10% divi will be an awesome pension!

Anyway, that my reasoning - but I'm a cat, so take it with a pinch of catnip.

Seems like a load of knee jerk gamblers have taken this board and we need to get it back.

Not sure how many of you I'm talking to here but I'm sure you're in the same bed as me:

Buy a share, in this case Rolls Royce.
Know it's undervalued.
Continue to buy at prices that you think undervalue the company.
Have an END GOAL (mine being £7 Feb 2025).

Those are four really easy steps. Calm. Calculated. Concise.

Everything else is fodder. I'm a cat with a mouse until that point - having fun seeing how many times I can keep it up in the air.

It simply baffles me to think people are still day trading/spreading in this day and age.

If you can't lose money, don't invest. If you have to sell one stock to buy another, don't invest. If you look daily and consider jumping from that top floor, don't invest.

Set a goal and have fun in the meantime. Simples.

What is so hard about investing money, setting a goal (time or gain or both) and getting out? You're not investing for the fun, you're investing to reach a goal surely?

Most of us on here have been around that long - most of us got the rights issue at 30p (ish).

It's a great question, and one that will become the most asked for the next generation, what with the revolution in AI and it's natural consequence of giving people more leisure time.
Personally, my last "9-5" job was over 25 years ago and I've managed to gauge out a career for myself doing something I love to do, something I'd do even if I wasn't earning money.... yes, cat juggling.

So this concept of 'Get your head down and work until you can retire' is alien to me, as I'm sure it's alien to many on here.

And thankfully, more and more people of the next generation and thereafter will understand that and we'll have an 'employment revolution' if you will.

No longer will people be seen, or indeed see themselves, as 'employees' to businesses but instead they will be associates for a common goal. That will then become their vocation, so not something to actually 'retire' from.

And that mindset change is happening quickly. This snowball is gathering pace by the second.
