Yeah, it does to me - I work silly hours due to my clients in the US so looking at a healthy FTSE Futures estimate at 2am for it to be decimated by 8am is a puzzler.... I didn't know if there was a good time to get a true indication of FTSE Futures for the day ahead.

And for the record CW, we argued about oil pricing back in the day and look what happened?

I'm not one for calling a call but unless you are a total prat, you must look at your posts and say "yeah, I'm a dick on this on".

I'll tell you how your posts go:

Step 1) Find something socialist/army related to post about how band banks are

Step 2) Ask a silly question that that everyone knows the answer to and then post that question to a forum (such as LSE)

Step 3) Wait for them people to answer (I see you have time 24-7)

Step 4) That doesn't happen so you attack and say they're talking rubbish, go into your 1970s draw of Werther's Originals, suck a load with a why smile whilst telling your wife how great you are (she doesn't even know what the internet is) so she smiles in fear of you challenging her.

Step 5) You grab a picture of Washington, Grant, Eisenhower, Patton, Powell, Schwartz, in one hand and a huge roll of toilet paper in the other - "I'm off to bed" you call as she knows you're going to blur your hand into putty.

Step 6) You come back here, ask more silly questions (thinking you know stuff we don't), you sell more shares at a discount (probably blame the cat/dog/budgie or the wife and then tell us all again how you know things we don't.

Step 7) See step 1 and repeat.

Currently looking like 0.5% up. I know we've got Asia to figure in, but any experts out there with a good time to look at FTSE Futures that will actually give a good indication for the day in question?

What are you talking about? SVB (Silicon Valley Bank) got into bonds at next to zero interest rates, they then had to sell those bonds to raise capital for the run they had of people wanting to withdraw, losing money in the process.

Dead right. I thought it was an isolating case of a rogue bank (SVB) making stupid decisions by buying up low interest rate bonds and having to sell low in a reaction to a run on the bank.

Although, if you do take a chance to read my posts, I did say at that time that the big boys (those with a little more decorum in their bond buying) will be buying up banks like SVB et al and a balance will be brought back.
