Here is the most important RNS fact for anyone staying awake at night, afraid that the company will be sold "on the cheap" (which apparently means £2 per share!) - "Until a transaction is finally concluded there can be no certainty that a transaction will occur or on what terms." Gotta love those RNS facts, as the BoD clearly state, the sale is far from certain, and there is no talk of multiple pounds per share, seems more like a warning that it has the potential to be a lot less than the current hope/fantasy-based share price.
It would indeed be a massive bargain at £0.0015, but sadly the price is £0.015, so only out by a factor of 10!
Precisely, TMS, but of course, "Eurasia is different!" In a few months when the no deal lands it'll just be a case of "Same sob story, different company name." Sad for those who bought in about the single digits, as I suspect this is gonna end rathwr badly for them in the medium term.
1TL surely you know better than to go against the approved narrative - falling sp equals positive because mm manipulation is to rob PIs of their shares for their mates; rising share price is positive because people are willing to pay higher prices; stagnant sp is positive because it means mms don't dare lower the price for fear of being flooded with buys. So basically all share price mvmt or non mvmt is a positive sign!!! Comedy gold
You should however consider the judgment in Hedley Byrne. You would also need to prove causation. An online bb would be very difficult to fit into all of that imo, since most people of any financial means would not base economic decisions on such low quality sources. You'd probably be better off going with emotional distress and/or defamation, but you'd still need to prove resultant loss and both factual and legal causation for an action in tort.
Incredible listening to some of the nonsense on here about this being a sign that the russian gvmt is backing Eua!!! This option exists for any arctic firm with 10k to invest, but just like the 500k licence option fee, i shouldn't be surprised if a bunch of the usual folks start trying to spin this as adding hundreds of millions to eua's value. Oops, i beg your pardon, that obviously should've been hundreds of billions!
Ouch! Yes you can always rely on HMG to c9ck things up. Let's just hope the remaining diagnostics lines do well so that some of those folks can at least exit at break even someday.
Coffee, what on earth happened to Omega???
There's no such thing in the IB world as no win, no fee. You are probably thinking of the success fee basis which is rather a different thing - you pay for their work, and if they deliver a stonkingly good deal they also get a percentage. And they might even get a stepped percentage for a slightly higher incredible deal. But i doubt they even have figured in a number for a multi billion deal, since there's more chance of a papal conclave electing my dead granny as the next Servant of the Servants of God!
