That's a bit like asking if any other companies have announced a purchase of a piece of string, how long was it! If you are simply collecting data for statistical analysis, that could be interesting, but don't misunderstand what has been announced today, they've not declared yet that they even have any profits out of which to pay ANY percentage dividend!
Beresford your complete ignorance around the issue of distribution law should really prevent you from ever discussing in public again ever! It is simply NOT lawful to dispose of assets and then distribute the proceeds to shareholders on a certain date prior to the announcement of said sale! For one thing, if that was the case they would be having to track down thousands of people who are no longer shareholders but were shareholders at the historic point in time. You really should reflect on your complete ignorance on this subject and refrain from posting in the future about it. Frankly i cannot see why anyone would ever attribute any credibility to anything you say given how completely inaccurate your statements have been on this manifestly obvious issue!
How fascinating - 80% to be paid out! 110% of zero, however, is still zero! So the policy means very little. More interesting is that they continue to make these interim announcements, hardly seems necessary if a sale actually is close!!!
For goodness' sake, dude, would you chill out. Surely you researched the projects and the state of play before investing? If you are currently at a loss, I am guessing you must have bought in post AA exclusivity deal commencement. Just the fact that more that one major mining firm is sniffing around tells you that they must have something pretty interesting. These guys don't waste their time on pie in the sky prospects, they must have seen something pretty unusual to keep talking. Noone can tell you whether this will go up or down, it's junior mining ffs! The likelihood in every jnr miner is that you'll lose everything. Read more about copper, demand forecasts, the corporate presentations, the broker notes (if you enjoy a good laugh), listen to the company presentations, and then ask yourself if you are excited by the potential here? I am moderately interested, so have nibbled on a few lately. I personally don't like or trust NvS one bit, but things are far enough along that this is no longer about having faith in him, and more about whether a major wants this project to close the large, and growing, copper supply shortage? And will the current legal hiccups get straightened out. Nobody knows the answer to those Qs otherwise the sp would be much higher or much lower. You have to evaluate the prospects yourself and make your own decision as to whether you are gonna roll the dice. But this is jnr mining, it's all immensely high risk, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Personally i think the max this could deliver on buyout is in the 22-25p range, judging from previous deals and metrics. BUT if the domes copper sulphides are here and we discover them before any potential deal is reached then that number increases materially. If it's not viable, you'll lose it all. Just don't kid yourself that there are any "safe" junior miners, they simply don't exist! The real money you're chasing by buying juniors is the reward you get paid for gambling on the unknowns and coming up lucky! So....are you feeling lucky?!
Yes one of the few companies i think has real potential from these levels. Was also positive about EUA when it was down at such levels. Not sure i would be suggesting anyone invest in POW if it gets to a 700m mkt cap though, i will be movimg into the next undervalued potential multibagger.at that point. AiM is all about buying cheap companies with good potential and REMEMBERING TO SELL YOUR WINNERS!
Sounded rather disheartened by the state of the junior exploration mkt on AiM. Let's hope that 2022 is POW's year, but I hope it'll be later in the year so that I can save up my 10p per post income to buy one or two more of these! Especially like the Uranium, soon to be recategorized a green energy!
Haha i never said past investments in eurasia were a mistake, i did rather handsomely out of my own. What i am saying is that from this point fwd eurasia looks like an opportunity to lose money, just as those silly enough to buy my holding in the 40s have no doubt discovered! Can honestly say never lost a penny on Thor, but i certainly investigated it just the same way i investigated eurasia a few years back. Decided at the time that Thor was a deadloss lifestyle company and that with the sino deal eurasia could be a multibagger. It certainly proved to be all that, but as for the jokers talking about multi pound divis for a 20p share, lololol If it sounds too good to be true...
Grief the ignorance on here is staggering! Plenty of AiM juniors have massive projects worth a fortune and mkt caps which are a tiny fraction of this! Eg Thor Mining with their Pilot Mountain project which had 2B usd NPV on a JORC, but the mkt cap never lifted above 10-15m quid. Unless you learn to realize how little these things mean in the AiM scheme of things, I suspect you will fall victim to the swift parting of a fool and his money!
Lol, sadly i've never been so busy as during my semi-retirement. Ready the dross posted by the usual rampers who just can't explain.why this multi trillion pound company can't seem to break free of the low 20s!! Oh wait that's right, it's "neing held back"! Raflmao. Best line i just saw was some cretin talk about big IIs having a short position because their MM friends will close it on the cheap for them! As though MMs would give away their profits to other city financiers just to be good pals. Really the standard of ramping on here has become an absolute joke! There's clearly going to be no.sale, and the BoD are now frantically trying to come up with plan b to keep the ship from sinking to.Davy Jones', and I suspect that the real reason for BoD retirements will be the lack of credibility they will have once this explodes and sinks for some years. But of course the combined wisdom of the mkt valuing this at 23p is totally wrong and the members of the Panda Owners' Club are the ones who really understand that this will sell for £50 a share. Great laugh to end a great day, nighty nighty lads, might wanna lay off the rum, you'll feel pretty stupid when the no deal rns lands and you look back on all this childlike foolishness about pirates and treasure island! Hahahaha
I always prefer capital gains to divis, for tax reasons. Btw, JMR's first name is Johan, but won't give anymorw for fear of falling foul of LSE's divulging of personal details rule. Godt nytt aar!
Suspect you may be right about long termers selling out early, noone in their right mind would trust a word that comes out of Carver's mouth after all the, let's be generous and call them contradictory, inaccurate prior statements over the years. Especially the one about the deep well which was on flow test but never actually was. And the well workover which was happening any day now and then six month later it was announced that they hadn't done anything.for waiting on pipes! Johan and I were talking on whatsapp the other day, he tells me he still has 3m shares here but has given up hope of every reaching breakeven of 8p/share. I suspect he will wake up one day more pleasantly surprised than ever, I certainly recall those meteoric days after A5 success announced when it wenf up about 400% in just a week or so. Perhaps if oil hits 100$ next year we might see that happen again. Am just glad we don't have to read 100 posts a day from the idiotic polish cavedweller!
Well, I have taken 10,000 shares of this on OBX, so let's see if it recovers or sinks from 164!
Hahaha selling out at the 40p mark and not being too greedy! Yes, what a halfwit!!!!!! Hahaha M135i, i am under no obligation to explain myself to you, and if you look at the LSE requirements you will see that there is nothing about needing to be long a share or rosy about its future prospects (short, medium or long term) - if you think otherwise, then you are simply deluded. Anyhow, it's time for kveldsmat, have to observe those cultural traditions even when so far from home!
Sleep tight, rum and antidepressants all round as the good ship Eurasia continues her slow slide beneath the waves, soon to be at full ramming speed when the no deal rns lands.
I confess i had a quick in and out here, in again at 3.5p and out again at 5p. Will repeat if the possibility presents itself. Just have seen too many disturbing activities by the same chairman over on another company in which I turned a large gain into a small gain by failing to heed the warning signs and leaving it too long before cashing in. I suspect PoxiRoxi will enjoy a big bounce the day he is given his marching orders. Wish all LTHs good luck here, it has certainly fallen pretty low since the Polish cavedweller was here arguing with the Norwegian. (I hear from a mutual acquaintance on the boards that she has graduated now from medical school and is practicing in Manchester; how time flies!)
So you think that a few LiS batteries are going to replace the demand for Pd from >50m ICE vehicles each year? Get real! And even if they ultimately do, you would have to be looking decades into the future. And who knows what will have superceded LiS batteries by that point. And whilst Pd remains multiples of Pt, substitution will always be a key focus in industries using PGMs. You know it, I know it, Golden Sacks knows it, even the EUA BoD knows it. Likely why they made their first smart move in a long time imo and started looking to Pt projects, which will be what ultimately saves this company after the no deal RNS. You can forget Pd, that is like investing in a buggy whip manufacturer in the early years of Ford! Nickel, Copper, Tin, Platinum and Gold are the minerals for the future, not Palladium the way things stand today. Too bad Eurasia is light in most of these and heavy in Pd!
"Somewhere between £ 4-40 billion" raflmao hysterical! More likely somewhere between 100m-250m. And that in itself would be a massive achievement for a company which does very little mining and is primarily just a collection of licenses. Talk of multiB deals is pure fantasy, and not supported by a single statement from the company. In fact, all the company has said definitively about the deal is that there is no guarantee it will happen. MultiBs, love it, you can always rely on the rampers here for a good laugh!
As far as i can tell, the guy hasn't put a foot wrong! Everything is down significantly in junior mining the last half year. PJs only rewards come through sp appreciation, so i am just going to remortgage the house and buy tens of millions if this drops to 1p!
Disagree, tadger, i think it is entirely plausible that the signature arrived after yesterday's RNS, especially with gvmt departments looking to clear desks before the end of the year and the run up to orthodox Christmas. Too many idiotic conspiracy theories around poxiroxi (as jmr used to call it) and the idiot UselessKicks with his stupid conspiracy theories which were going to make all holders rich "next Q". Fact is they are just barely competent and screw things up royally and regularly, and sometimes coincidences do happen. anyhoo Merry Christmas to all, bulls, bears, longs, shorts, and inbetweeners!
Think it's time for a new competition - guess how low this will go by Christmas without any news! All credit to the BOD, they've played things beautifully, dragging out this routine about an unnamed buyer offering an unspecified amount for an unidentified swlection of the company's assets! Hahaha
