Alsoppc, not frustrating for AB though since the slimy little b****r got himself a huge pay increase, funded by sh dilution. I suspect this has morphed from being a project they thought would emulate dana petroleum into just a nice little gravy train whilst they wait to see if anyone pays what they think the project is worth. Either way the BoD and leadership team here will be the winners. Serious sh s would get togethet 5% of shares outstanding and call a meeting proposing the immediate termination of AB. Should sufficiently embarras him with his City mates to get some better comms for a while. But it's becoming rather obvious that he and daddykins just weren't up to the job at Longreach, no wonder they wanted them gone.
Thanks rotherby same to you. I always look to invest in early stage junior mining cos where the management have ungenerous salaries and only stand to get major money from sp appreciation, ideally through share ownership rather than easy options awarded at the dilution of shareholders. Needless to say there aren't many cos on AiM for me to speculate in!!!! If the uranium, nickel and gold don't bring home the bacon here i guess i will lose most of my assets since I've been slowly dripping about 85% of my investment pot into POW. Just think the projects are too many and the leadership team too experienced here for them not to deliver more than the 25m mkt cap in value over medium term. Will be interesting to see if i am right or wrong! Either way i can't complain, since more than 75% of my net worth has come from riding another AiM miner from lows to ridiculously overvalued highs, where i am rather proud of myself for having pushed the sell button within a couple of pence of the all time highs! So most of it is unearned free money for me here, easy come easy go, right?! Good luck to everyone here...
Didn't agree with all the rubbish you posted for years about THR, where you're ramping is still failing with a sp still in the doghouse! But I do agree that Cu looks like a fantastic investment from this point fwd hemce my purchase of some ARCM and POW. Not impressed with NvS's poor comms and frankly his arrogance, but perhaps he will manage to not screw things up here. Otherwise I think we will need to replace him with someone who actually proves a competent communicator and is able to get this drilling campaign advanced. Loathe paying this guy six figures for his failure to deliver thus far, no doubt which ever way this ends up for shareholders NvS will ensure that his own pockets are well lined! All to play for now that we are, thankfully, no longer in an EA with Anglo.
"I can only assume it’s a major player who can control mms. Accumulation is the only answer but it’s been going on for years now. Could BR have come in, forward sold out shorted the stock and then decided to go long once the sp hit 15p and ever since then they’ve been in cahoots with one of the mms to gather stock??"
Ffs yet another comspiracy theorist implying the MMs are corrupt and against them. Of course it couldn't possibly be that nobody has any faith left in this BoD who never follow through in an open and honest way? Just look as the supposed updated which was to be given "shortly" - that was in autumn 2021 and it still hasn't arrived!!! You jokers should look a little more realistically at the appalling comms of your BoD before you start making up these fantasies that the MMs, my own supposed employers BR, et cetera are all conspiring against you. Frankly it's a miracle that this sp has held in the 20s given the lack of decent comms from this company. Still no explanation from them about the FSP debacle. Deals in the tens of Bs are done in a matter or 6 months, give or take, even mining. All points to a no sale here, and i am really looking forward to the no sale rns!!!
Ultimately it all comes down to whether you believe PJ has the skills to bring off a couple of excellent results and whether you can trust him. Since he owns 10% of the company and only pays himself five figures, i think it is fair to say that his interests are entirely aligned with all SHs here. Can he deliver? Even he cannot know that for sure but I doubt he stuck in half a million just for a laugh. So whilst he keeps pay low and insider ownership high, i am just treating these prices as a gift! Moving this from 20m to 500m should not be difficult with some good results, i confess it was the nickel drill results which really grabbed my attention. Perfect point on the value curve from my own risk perspective.
Since all the nervous nelly rampers are starting on the personal insults and death wishes (doesn't take them long to become abusive, does it?!) I thought it was time to start reminding people regularly about what the BoD have said most recently about any asset sale values and timelines - there can be no certainty that any transaction will occur, nor the price at which any deal might be done! So even the company's most recent statements to address these issues indicate a complete lack of certainty. Some people who have bought in the 30s and 40s are going to be very disappointed over the coming months. Any deal which was going to be done would've been done years ago when they had an FSP which resulted in....exiting with no sale agreed! Clearly nobody was willing to pay what the BoD wanted back then, and I doubt anyone is going to pay multiBs now for Pd assets which will be going the way of the buggy whip once the death of the ICE materializes, likely sooner than most people anticipate. Strangely enough no recent GS or BR publications make any mention of the huge demand for Pd in the medium to long term, simply because once we hit the middle of this decade, Pd will fall off a cliff and the price will plummet back to some hundreds of dollars per oz. So no major mining co will be buying lots of Pd when they will never be able to sell it all profitably.
If PIs were serious about getting AB to take notice, they would simply cobble together 5% of the shares in issue and call a meeting with the only resolution to oust AB and perhaps other management. Until something like that is done, they will continue to treat you all like their own little gravy train.
Bodmin, it's not being very well skippered then since this ship is further from its destination than it was a year ago, judging from the sp and market sentiment!! Think you've just inadvertently validated my rather low opinion of the leadership here.
"You may get a few newbies to sell but they will hold a paltry amount, and probably buy them back on only drops." I will be very satisfied if other PIs are able to buy these back lower since it will mean they get to lower their cost basis! My own view of how low this will probably go is not something I am shy about stating, but since you indicate that i may cause people to buy on the drops, my only question is how low then do you think this is gonna go??
I agree with you entirely, utter nonsense! Which is why i have no idea why velcrofajita was saying it!!! The explanation given was to reward shareholders who do not want to be part of eua2, which deepens the mystery of what VF thinks is actually going to happen!
Trowtech, BRK looks intetesting as a case study. I just had a little look at it - 42.75p dividend declared dec 3 2020, shares had been bouncing around the 50s and 60s by the looks of the charts in the run up to that period durimg oct and nov 2020. Correct mw if I'm wrong? Incidentally you've produced one questionable example, and certainly one i had no experience with. If it is so unlikely that a long term investor would have no experience of multiples of sp as a dividend, i am sure you could name a few hundred examples out of the tens of thousands of shares which have come and gone across the London markets over the last almost half century?! Incidentally i am not saying something new is impossible, just highly improbable, to say the very least!
A dividend of 5-10p seems quite possible to me. No company I have ever heard of in 40 years of investing has ever paid out multiples of its sp as a special dividend (for clarification, i mean the sp as it stands before announcement of the divi amount.)
Slightly reduced my limit buy price this morning expecting we might get down to 3p with rioting continuing. Sadly didn't fill today, but am hopeful for tomorrow or next week. Sympathies to all who aren't trading this and have held down from 5p.
Lol, how is that an amazing rns? My company had a fire evacuation policy which of course meant that we had a fire moments after it was published? No, we never once had a fire or even to evacuate, but we had a policy for my 20 years there! We never really considered it was amazingly good news to have such a policy, simply standard business practice!
What on earth do money laundering regs have to do with your allegations that the company is illegally withholding market sensitive information? The fact is you are claiming the company intends an unlawful dividend distribution requirement, and now you are claiming they are in breach of disclosure regulations! Admin should simply ban you for posting all of this factually incorrect nonsense, utterly dangerous lies. You're either attempting dishonest market manipulation or so utterly clueless that you should immediately appoint a trustee to handle all of your finances on your behalf.
