Brad the point you've skirted over is that he could have funded the early part (($10M) and got the project up and running. As soon as you have a connection to the grid you have options and as soon as you have gas flowing you have more options. If other companies, governments and funds see that the project is definitely viable and cold hard cash is being generated they are more likely to sign up themselves. The early funding opens so many more doors and would have saved so much time. If I had that kind of cash that's exactly what I would have done. If he really believes in this project then he knows his investment is safe and he would get whatever he put in back many times over. He hasn't taken that route so we continue to wait for someone to play ball and stump up the cash.

Brad the criticism hasn't been unfair. Many here have been waiting many years to see a return on their money! At the end of the day the buck has to stop with the CEO.

For instance right now if we had funding as Colm claimed over a year ago we could be developing a solar panel array ready for when we get connected to Serowe.

If we had funds now we could be drilling more wells to be helping to dewater Lesedi. So to say that funding isn't holding us up is a naive viewpoint in my opinion. There's always something you can be doing to prepare IF you have the funding. We haven't and that's why we haven't been able to have another well(s) (before Covid!) to help bring the whole Lesedi area gas flow levels up and drive water levels down. That is a fact. It is also a fact that it is the current management that has failed to get that funding uo till this point.

Hopefully we are very near to the point where funding is forthcoming and we can finally crack on apace with this project.

Shed, yes TA's use caveats but they're making a prediction that isn't based in certainty, human nature is unpredictable as is newsflow. Giving caveats is the only way to incorporate those variables into any meaningful type of price prediction.

There's a big difference between critics and those that just want to see some results and forward momentum. To blindly follow without ever questioning is the mindset of a cult. Extremely unhealthy!

I don't think anyone has been 'stunned into slience' Brad. We've had one small 2MW ppa signed and some promises of some more positive news to follow but we've often had that many times in the past. At times it's necessary to reflect rather than just talk for the sake of talking.

At this point all we can do is wait, there’s no point regurgitating the same old arguments ad nauseum.

Funding is the big step and until that is secured everything else is effectively in limbo. We can put out tender proposals for transmission cables, sign ppa's and talk about dewatering till the cows come home but ultimately unless or until we secure funding the project will stall.

In the last RNS a timetable of sorts was given let's see how that progresses. Once the transmission tenders are submitted by the respective companies then we need the money to start paying people so we know roughly by when we need this cash. Let's see if its one vital target that the company actually achieves on time.

Two points about Zak Mir's chart analysis. Firstly he says his price target is based upon an end of day close above 11p. We never got this. Secondly he says if the stock trades back below 9.66p then it will delay any upside move.

It's very easy to dismiss technical analysis if you don't listen carefully to what's actually being said or predicted.

Both the above points clearly void the price predictions as Zak says.

The weekly oil chart is looking very bullish at this moment. Personally I can see oil hitting $70 or $80 this year.

Funny you mentioned possibly selling more Valore shares for future funding swizz... as we should be receiving another 500,000 tranche of Valore shares around the middle of this month as part of the sale of Pedra Branca.

Chart wise nothing to worry about just a regular healthy pullback happening at the moment. Normal service will be resumed shortly ;)

Yes I've noted that others are now joining in the chorus Levi which is what you'd expect if you've been posting about it for months eventually you're bound to get others commenting on it. I still maintain it's pointless. The situation is what it is you either sell or hold or buy more. If they keep increasing revenue at some point the fundamentals will have to reflect that fact. I can wait.

ART, I respect all opinions when based in fact. The original post mentioned waiting for the cpr. That isn't fact it's either a genuine mistake or an attempt to mislead. The issue I really had was with the "it's all jam tomorrow" statement. An utterly ridiculous comment for the reasons I gave. You assume that all posters post truthfully and with no mal intent. If only that were true! Unfortunately people post deliverate lies and orchestrate smear campaigns all the time to undermine confidence and ultimately attempt to undermine the shareprice. The bigger the prize the shadier the practices. Watch and make notes of which posters post deliberate lies, attempt to smear BL or just undermine confidence on an extremely regular basis. I do so I know what's what and who's who.

I give respect where it's deserved ie. for factual posts or good critical analysis not for half baked ideas and not so subtle digs at the CEO who has (with his team) done a very good job of managing the company. Shadypants it was a rhetorical musing rather than a question but thanks for taking the time to work it out! :) So a big rise for Silver could / should have a very material impact upon our valuation.

I mentioned at the back end of last week that Silver was the next target of the reddit army. As I type it's worked it's way back up to just under $30 which can only be good news for EUZ.

The more important points here are that regardless of reddit the chart for silver was already looking very bullish with a nice basing period that's moved into a nice uptrend.

Today Silver gapped up on the daily and we also had a gap up on last months monthly chart, extremely bullish signs. Current talk is of possible $100 Silver on a longer timeframe. What would that do for EUZ prospects?

I would just add that if anyone thinks this is a bunch of kids acting irresponsibly think again. The hedge funds have been at this sort of manipulation for years. The Silver price is artificially kept low as is Gold but Silver much more so as the ratio of the Gold to Silver price was historically much smaller than it is today. Hence $100 dollar predictions (in time) do not seem unobtainable.

j b brown we've had the Jamaican cpr! It stated a potential 2.4 billion barrels of oil recoverable. We are only waiting for the seepage report which is due within a week or two. To say it's all jam tomorrow is clearly ridiculous when they've just announced $9 million revenue in an $37 average oil price environment.

Weve just had two new appointments, a gas pipeline in Egypt and the spudding of a new development well in Egypt plus the aforementioned updated CPR report for Jamaica of which we own 100% of the licence.

Coupled with this they have announced today the possibility of two further Egyptian wells THIS YEAR should results of the other three wells be favourable.

Some websites report the mid price others report the last traded price hence the disparity

Not just pressure on government, they've put pressure on many of the brokerage firms who have capitulated and halted trading in the affected companies. It is shameful. Fine when the large hedge funds are manipulating prices to suit their own ends but as soon as they get a taste of their own medicine they go throwing tantrums and flexing their muscle. The markets are now global and globally even the largest hedge fund can't compete if retail unite to move an asset. If trading is suspended they will just move to another asset. We may have just seen the start of something here that hedge funds and vested interests will find very difficult if not impossible to control.
