IMO Very likely this will go through.

1. They have been evaluating the offer since 23rd Sept

2. It's a unique situation with thr large holders here, BOD don't have a say, all depends what's they want.

3. StoneX already have M&A spwxialists lined up

4. This has been ongoing since July, so they must be serious

5. StoneX have made atleast 2 acquisitions in the last month, so on a bit of an M&A spree.

6. Cannacord Head of FX (CABP Broker), moved to StoneX 2 weeks ago 🤔. Over 1 year ago they had a 576p price target!

This is simply a move to rattle out any PI's, free float is tiny, and most are institutions.

I get the feeling this is a strategic fit for CABP, not just selling up, they will be able to accelerate and leverage with StoneX capabilities. Eg..there deal with Natwest..

It was 27p after the bonds funding was agreed.

Only spiralled down to 15-16p over 3-4 months as they have been in M&A discussions since, with a total news blackout out, in a close period as confirmed by CFO, they haven't been allowed to say anything. This will all soon change.

2 things we now know after the interview:

1. NIU are fully behind PXC

2. PXC are in a close period, widely held belief acquiring a producing mine

And point 1&2 most probably linked, 1 waiting for 2, as everything changes.

- New schedule for Bond payment anytime, back to 25-30p for starters

- Acquisition of an already producing mine, making PXC instantly cash flow positive, totally transforms the company, instantly multibags. No longer just rumours, CFO has confirmed still in a close period!!

Once we are at the purchase agreement/closing stage, expecting the shares to be suspended, then best of luck, wonder what the reopening price would be?

IMO Market makers used the PFS and the interims to pull the rug from long term holders knowing what's about to drop, a big M&A deal is coming as confirmed by the CFO in the interview twice. Would not be surprised, if a large order was filled for someone. Like the pump and dump before a placing (happens all the time), here the opposite has happened 🧐. Corruption to its core.

Everyone said closed period because of Interims and PFS, well still in a closed period, a 2yr old can work out what's happening!! What did Richard say, he would love to say more but he can't. Forced by the regulators to not say a word. Rumours are an already producing mine = instantly cash flow positive, changes everything for PXC, including payment schedule with NIU 🤔 becomes a totally different company, hence the blackout.

Let's wait and see. As is the process, I reckon announcement, along with a share suspension, as the deal finalises. And then 🔥🔥🔥 . We could well see an unprecented rise.

Without the M&A should be many multiples anyway.

50p-60p would be great especially in the short term, what i meant was horrible feeling for those genuine LTH's that were forced to sell out this week!

They need to close this M&A deal asap, it's taken long enough, hopefully the wait is worth it.

Clearly the M&A has put everything on hold, probably a huge opportunity has presented itself which will be totally transformational. RW sounded excited in the interview!!

However for long term holders, they have executed the whole thing totally wrong.

Imagine the LTH's who all held through for years, and imagine the deal goes through and we get to 50p, 60p, it won't be a nice feeling.

Something is brewing. Directly confirmed by the CFO, all should be revealed soon.

No one can now deny they are involved in some M&A talk, it is crystal clear they have been working on something else, which is why there has been total silence. He said we will find out soon.

Firstly, yesterday was a total fiasco, easily avoided.

However M&A is nailed on. 2 hard facts/clues from the interview yesterday with the CFO:

1. Interims over, however still in a closed period!!!

2. Towards the end RW was asked, anything else, and he said I cannot talk, but we will soon find out!

So it's not just rumours based on hearsay anymore!

Not expecting anything else further, no fanfare around the interims/bonds/pfs, PXC are clearly in a merger/acquisition talk, so unless directed by their advisors/regulators, they can't say anything until the deal is concluded.

@MarketXpert - Very good summary. Clear disconnect the market has thrown here, perfect time to accumulate.

And then the big unknown, M&A!! We all know there is a total communications blockade for the last 4 months since bond funding, as in not 1 word from any of the directors. 2 landmark events, and still nothing. I'm 100% sure they are being directed by regulators/nomad/lawyers/advisers to stay quiet until major news can be communicated, it's just too obvious. NIU invest specifically mentioned this during the AGM, so they have been working on something for months. We will all find out soon.

Once in a blue moon the market throws an out of this world opportunity for a multibag share, and IMO we genuinely have one here.

IMO A wall of silence from the company, and mm's went fishing and many traders got wiped out today. Should climb back up over the coming days.

Most trading on leverage and stop losses = high volatility. Wipe them out and then move up to the next leg.
