Same broker with a price target of 435p. I bet they are mopping up down here. Close brothers currently valued on a 2025 PE of less than 3x.

IMO Totally overblown by speculators creating FUD as usual. RBC Capital absolute worst case is only £387m and have given a new price target based on all this info of 435p! Would not be surprised with a quick spring back to 300p+ in no time.

CB raised over £200m by selling the wealth management firm a few months back, retained another £100m+ not paying dividends, and made £140m profit last year.

The big point missed by many, the fact they have been engaging with them since July now with books open and due diligence happening. You don't waste time, money and resources, and for once seems like you have 2 willing parties.

IMO A deal will eventually be struck. Let's see.

For me, the biggest point from the presentation is the market opportunity is massive, and Yougov currently have less than 1%.

They mid term target of £650m revenues with a 25% Margin if achieved anywhere close to that, yougov will easily be £25+ a share.

Collect the dividends, and tuck away this hugely reputable company. 🤞 no cheap takeovers.
