Wiltshireman - IMO this is precisely what is happening.

There is a scramble for physical gold. There is already a price difference between 'paper' gold and 'physical' gold, trust is waning by the minute, they all want physical gold delivered. We are going to see any shorters capitulate, fall of $3000 psychological level, will accelerate the movement.

Who is going to be left holding the bag, when the 'paper' gold is worthless. We are about to witness once in a lifetime situation, how run on the banks governments step in, no one to step in here. Hence why pure panic and Fear!

On a separate note GGP stockpiles with £0 mining cost is worth circa $1,666,785,000 at today's gold and copper prices.

With Telfer extended, Haverion producing, will be MINIMUM $1 BILLION revenue business for the next 20+ years. Aim of the game is huge dividends to come, why institutions will load up.

Gold market is totally broken. We will see $3000+ quicker than anyone imagined. The demand for gold around the world is unprecedented with not just the political turmoil but various different reasons. Price of gold has been suppressed for so long, everything is coming to a head.

Everyday is a new high and price discovery. As a major producer now, as GGP holders we just have to wit on our hands and reap the benefits. Market will do its thing to try and snatch those golden tickets away from the weak. But we know where this is heading.

I am happy with slow and steady.

However IMO I think we are going to see Gold prices explode like Nickel did 2 years ago. There is nothing but total fear in the market with all the uncertainty with tarrifs and sanctions etc, and I really think there is a major concern about the global supply of gold, any shorters will have to buy back only adding further pressure. Market looks broken with the global uncertainty, as witnessed by the dramatic increase in the delivery times by the BOE, there is something new with regards to global trade everyday, and many are going to one of the only safety havens available, GOLD.
