RE: Santana do Amapa media from Brasil21 Feb 2021 11:04
Cadence Minerals, through Dev Mineração, intends to resume shipments of iron ore from the former Zamin stockpiled in Amapá. The export of the steel production from the port of Santana, in the state, will be made based on a decision of the 1st Reserved Chamber of Business Law of the Court of Justice of São Paulo (TJSP), impeaching the decision of the body itself that had suspended the sale of the ore.
On February 8, the court decision was issued, denying the appeal of zamin's international creditor banks, and the examination of the declaration embargoes was found, thus allowing the sale of the ore in an action that had been pending, since 2015, in são Paulo's court.
According to Cadence, there are about 1.4 million tons of iron ore with a 62.12% content in three stocks of the former Zamin.
