There’s a phone number Tony towards the bottom of the trial page for people interested in participating in the trial.
Glad to hear you are remaining positive Tony. I hope the MRI goes ok, it’s an anxious time for you. Keep on keeping on, there are so many developments that like you say, love changing treatment could be round the corner.
On the clinical trial site you can directly email the coordinators for the hospital you are closest to, that is probably worth a try. I’ll post the link in a moment for you.
I’m so sorry to hear about your situation Tony, I see Bella has included the clinical trial specific email address to Avacta. Don’t give up as I’m sure they will want to include you. Please keep us posted of your progress from any treatment. I don’t know if relevant to your cancer type but I read an amazing article on a company called HistoSonics and they are using a non invasive solid beam into solid liver tumours to create gas bubbles that dissolve the tumour. The trial is called #HOPEFORLIVER and they are currently enrolling in Europe. This treatment is more niche and currently works for certain type of solid tumours and it matters where they are in the body. I wish you all the best.

Reaper007 shared this info yesterday. It’s all in the abstract.

Gosh Energy shares, it would be amazing if they are and I really hope so. They are incredibly brave to volunteer to do the trial at such a late stage when their time and energy is so precious. To give any of that time up to research is truly altruistic. By the time my sister decided to enter clinical trials it was too late for her. She insisted on further doses of standard chemo because she was so young and didn’t want to die and leave her children, the standard chemo doxorubicin was effective and did reduce her tumour but the toxicity damaged the rest of her organs so much and she didn’t survive.
This is why I am LTH, we are potentially standing on the cusp of revolutionising cancer treatment.
There is some excellent reattach uncovered on Twitter by Marik and covered by others including the ethical tout which some others have shared on this forum over the last two days. The dose evaluation is guided by the CTCAE guidelines. Basically it says
Therefore, for a 50% increase, the event which occurred during this trial would likely have been a ‘grade 1 event’:
"Mild; asymptomatic or mild symptoms; clinical or diagnostic observations only; intervention not indicated." As per the CTCAE guidelines.
Affirx has been on there for the last year. In USA they cannot use the trademark Affidx or Affirx. There is another trademark in existence that the office decided is too similar. We’ve know that since august last year.
