Peel Hunt has reiterated its buy recommendation and 650p target price for chip designer ARM Holdings, saying that the stock is a 'must-have' following its investor day yesterday. "Rarely have we seen such an attractive investment case as that provided by ARM yesterday. Having lost some marketing ground to Intel in recent weeks, ARM gave a compelling account of how it sees its markets developing over the next five years. Our conclusion: ARM is a must-have stock and recent weakness has created an ideal entry point," said analyst Paul Morland.

Tribal Group plc Extension to contract with U.S. Army to develop mobile learning smartphone App to enhance international relief efforts Tribal Group plc ("Tribal"), a leading provider of technology products and services to the education, learning and training markets in the UK and internationally, has confirmed a $1m extension to its contract with the U.S. Army as technology partner on the Mobile Learning Environment (MoLE) project. As part of this work, Tribal is collaborating with a team of experts to develop smartphone applications for aid workers to use when responding to international humanitarian emergencies. This builds on the earlier research and development completed by Tribal for the MoLE project. Tribal will continue to provide support as expert technical adviser and mobile developer. The prototype applications combine the native features of the smartphone with mobile software infrastructure to deliver targeted content and social networking capabilities. Underpinning the project is Tribal's innovative mobile learning suite, an emerging software platform optimised for sharing critical information and just-in-time learning across all major smartphones and integrating with traditional learning platforms. MoLE is part funded by the Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), an organization within the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command located at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

Contract Win Driver Group, the global construction consultancy, is pleased to announce that following the acquisition of Trett Consulting it has commenced work on a significant assignment. Trett's Houston business has entered into a Consulting Services Agreement with one of the World's largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies. Due to confidentiality restrictions details of the company and scope of work cannot be provided. However, the initial Agreement runs for 12 months and the overall involvement is expected to be in excess of 4 years. The first assignment under the Agreement is capped at a fee of approximately US$2m, with further assignments anticipated.

McLaren Software wins contract with CH2M Hill Energy & Chemical Division IDOX plc (AIM: IDOX), a leading independent supplier of software and services, announced today that its Engineering Information Management subsidiary McLaren Software has entered an agreement to supply the McLaren Enterprise application software suite and related services to CH2M Hill in a deal worth $405,000 in the first year. CH2M Hill is a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations and program management with headquarters in Englewood, Colorado. The firm has 30,000 employees in regional offices worldwide with gross revenues of US$6.3 billion in 2010. McLaren's Enterprise suite will initially be deployed within the Energy & Chemical Division to support the vendor document management requirements of one of CH2M's clients. The McLaren Vendor Document Management module manages the receipt, distribution, review and approval of the vast amount of incoming documentation from suppliers and contractors involved in a major capital project. Ensuring consistent processes are followed by all project team members supported by reporting, dashboards and audit trails helps keep capital projects compliant with regulations and contractual obligations while improving the overall efficiency and auditability of the project. The contract award, won in a competitive procurement process, includes supply of McLaren Enterprise software, professional services, maintenance and support.

Valuation Shares in Conygar are currently trading at a 43.9% discount to NAV, which is significantly wider than our selected peer group, which all have exposure to the UK property market. Indeed, two peer companies, LXB Retail Properties and A&J Mucklow Group PLC, actually trade at a premium to NAV per share. The average discount of the six peer companies is 9.8%, and if we apply this discount to Conygar's shares we get a value per share of 142.6p – our new base case target price. The group has continued to increase NAV per share, despite tough trading conditions, through active portfolio management and development, and share buyback initiatives. As macro-economic recovery continues in the UK and further afield, we would expect to see a rebalancing of Conygar's property valuations and occupancy rates, the latter assisting rental income. Further, the group announced the payment of a dividend of 1.1p at its 2011 financial year-end, implying a current yield of 1.24%. We retain our stance of Buy at 88.625p with a 142.6p target price.

The Government of Saudi Arabia has saved a BAE Systems factory on Humberside by placing a £1.6bn order for dozens of Hawk jets to train its pilots. The deal represents a reprieve for the 248 staff and 30 apprentices who were due to be among 865 people made redundant after BAE Systems decided to shut its Brough site in the East Riding of Yorkshire in September. The deal, signed under a defence co-operation agreement between the Ministry of Defence and its Saudi counterpart, was welcomed by David Cameron, who described it as “good news for British jobs, for British investment and for British aerospace”. The Saudis will buy 55 Pilatus PC-21 aircraft, used for basic flight training, and 22 Hawk advanced jet trainer aircraft, in which trainee pilots will practise combat scenarios The Times says.

Investec Securities kept its "buy" stance on Bloomsbury Publishing (BMY) with an increased target price of 183p, from 179p. With the firm having completed its exit from the German market, the broker believes the book publisher is on its way to becoming a higher quality business, targeting the digital and education markets. Investec forecasts 34% of revenues and 53% of profits to come from these sources by 2013, due to the higher margins that they offer

Seymour Pierce retained its "buy" rating for G4S (GFS) with a 350p target price. The security company has set an earnings growth target of 10% for the current financial year, with the broker expecting the firm to benefit from increased public sector outsourcing in the UK. Seymour Pierce also believes the firm will spend some 200 million pounds on acquisitions as it looks to increase its presence in the emerging markets of Brazil, India and China.

Tempus thinks infrastructure investor HICL will appeal to some investors. It takes stakes in school, hospital and road projects, then pootles along with a decent dividend and possible asset growth. Last year it returned 8% and has little exposure to the Eurozone. Dull, but possibly a haven amidst the current storm is the advice.
