Bhd, and IntelliSAW Announce Strategic Distribution Agreement for Malaysia Transense Technologies plc Transense Technologies plc ("Transense") (AIM: TRT), the provider of sensor systems for the transportation and industrial markets, is pleased to announce that its trading division, IntelliSAW, a leading provider of next generation wireless sensor systems for smart grid applications, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with Simpro Engineering Sdn. Bhd. ("Simpro"), headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Simpro provides advanced power protection and control systems and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) technology to the electric power industry. As part of this agreement Simpro will provide distribution for IntelliSAW's innovative wireless/passive electrical switchgear temperature monitoring system in the Malaysian market. Simpro will also work closely with IntelliSAW in developing other Southeast Asian markets.

Seymour Pierce maintained its "buy" rating for Workspace Group (WKP) with a target price of 270p. The commercial property company is expected to report pre-tax profit growth of 12.7% for the year ended 31st March 2012, to 15.9 million pounds, with the broker anticipating occupancy rates of 86%. Seymour Pierce estimated that the group has a net asset value of 300p per share, based on a portfolio value of 748.6 million pounds, and forecasts a NAV of 316p for 2013.

Singer Capital retained its "buy" recommendation for Ted Baker (TED) with a 920p target price, ahead of the tailor's interim management statement tomorrow. The broker expects the firm to report first quarter growth of between 14% and 15%, with retail growth of around 16%/17%. Singer has high hopes for the group's international expansion plans, but noted that the wholesale division will face tough comparables against 2011's performance due to phasing differences

For the 19 week period from 29th January 2012 to 9th June 2012 'Good performance in line with the Board's expectations' Ted Baker, the British designer brand is pleased to announce a 14.6% increase in Group revenue for the 19 week period from 29th January 2012 to 9th June 2012 (the "period"), compared to the same period last year. Retail sales for the period were 16.2% above the same period last year, while average retail square footage rose by 12.0% to 259,936 sq.ft. (2011: 232,157 sq.ft.). We are pleased with performance across all territories despite a backdrop of challenging trading conditions. During the period we opened additional concessions in the US, Spain and Ireland and we have recently opened a new store on the Brompton Road, London. We also continued to expand into new international markets, opening our first store in Tokyo, Japan, and new concessions with leading department stores in the Netherlands and South Korea. Wholesale sales for the period were 8.9% above the same period last year, primarily driven by the continued growth of our US wholesale business. We expect full year growth to be at a similar level. Gross margins were, as anticipated, in line with last year. Our product and territorial licences continue to perform in line with expectations and new licensed store openings are planned in Indonesia and Malaysia later this year. Whilst we have been pleased with the Group's performance to date, which is in line with the Board's expectations, we remain mindful of the uncertain economic environment in which we operate. Trading Update Baydonhill (AIM: BHL), one of the UK's leading foreign exchange specialists, provides a brief update on trading for the year ended 31 March 2012. Unaudited turnover for the year to 31 March 2012 was in excess of £1billion, gross profit was approximately £5.5m before exceptional items and the Company expects underlying trading profit to be in the region of £300,000, in line with the underlying profit of £300,000 reported last year. The Company believes this is a robust outcome in light of the challenging trading environment in the second half of the year. Outlook The outlook for the Group remains positive with good growth opportunities existing both in more mature European and US markets as well as emerging markets. Following the successful integration of Superfos and the planned withdrawal from the loss making businesses of vending cups in mainland Europe and automotive components in Germany, the Group has improved its competitive cost base and strengthened its leading market positions. The Group is on track to achieve its targeted ROCE of 20% in the year ending March 2014. In the short term the Group is contending with a difficult and uncertain macro-economic environment whilst the current weakness of the euro against sterling should be noted as a significant part of the earnings are made in the euro zone. The new financial year has started satisfactorily with results in line with management expectations.
