re-close statement 26 June 2012 Ahead of Serco's half year end on 30 June 2012, we will be holding our customary pre-close meetings with analysts over the coming days. No new material information will be disclosed. The Group remains on track to meet expectations for 2012: we continue to expect another year of strong total revenue growth, including further good organic growth, together with an Adjusted operating margin increase similar to 2011. Our recently created global BPO business has demonstrated the strength of its strategic positioning, achieving excellent new contract wins that will add significant future revenues. In our regional frontline operations we have seen further strong growth in AMEAA, an improving outlook in the UK, but conditions in the US federal market remain very tough for our Americas division. Accordingly, for the first half of the year, we expect a small reduction in the Group's organic revenue. Acquisitions will contribute growth of approximately 6% to the Group's total revenue. The Adjusted operating margin, before the implementation costs of organisational changes, is expected to be broadly flat compared to the corresponding period in 2011.

Trading update Further to the announcement made on 1 June 2012, Tracsis confirms that its results for the year ending 31 July 2012 are expected to significantly exceed current market expectations. The directors believe that year end revenues will be in excess of £8.5m, with Adjusted EBITDA expected to be in excess of £3m. This further upgrade is attributable to continued strong market demand for the Group's products and services. The Group is currently undertaking its annual budgeting process for the year ended 31 July 2013 and will provide guidance to the market once budgets have been established. At this stage, the directors are confident that the current market forecast for 2013 will be revised upwards.

Qtel and Lusail Real Estate Development Company Sign Major Agreement Doha, Qatar, 25 June 2012 Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Q.S.C. and Lusail Real Estate Development Company today signed a major agreement which will see Qtel deliver advanced communications services to all the residents of Lusail, including businesses and government entities located on the mega-development. Lusail - Qatar's future city which will eventually provide accommodation for up to 200,000 people - is set to be one of region's leading urban areas, offering marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts and leisure facilities. The agreement will see Qtel take responsibility for the roll out of a new communications network across the entire development, offering High Speed Broadband to homes and businesses over Qtel Fibre and outdoor and indoor mobile and high speed mobile broadband coverage, as well as a host of advanced communication services.

Valuation: Discounted too heavily? Based on adjusting our model for the 2011 audited accounts and using gold prices of US$1,700/oz (2012), US$1,600/oz (2013) and US$1,350/oz thereafter, our base-case dividend discount valuation is 3.49p or 5.47c rising to 4.78p or 7.49c as Hambledon achieves its first year of c 80koz Au production forecast in 2017 (at a 10% discount to reflect general equity risk). This puts Hambledon’s shares at a significant 53% discount. Our valuation also fully includes US$3.8m paid by Hambledon for the TD3 charge. A proportion of this could be reimbursed if Hambledon is successful in its appeal (which has recently gained support from the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan). Hambledon is also currently trading 57% below NAV.

Robert Bready, the Product Director of ASOS, the online clothes retailer, has slimmed down his stake in the firm with the sale of 44,299 shares. The transaction, which was carried out on Monday, earned Bready £724,289 and reduced his holding to 143,125 ordinary shares, equal to 0.18% of the total issued share capital. Just over a month ago, the company posted a leap in earnings following a strong year of expansion of its International business, which more than doubled sales.

Outlook Trading for the first three months of the current financial year is in line with management expectations and we have continued to place additional IDS-iSYS systems. More recently we have secured new accounts for both our automated IDS-iSYS test for 1,25 dihydroxy vitamin D and also for our new hypertension assays launched within the past few weeks. Your Board is working hard to continue to build the Company and increase shareholder value in what is a challenging business environment. Revenue growth through the year is anticipated to be weighted to the second-half of the financial year reflecting the Board's expectation of increasing demand for existing and recently launched assays driven by an installed base of IDS-iSYS instruments that is also anticipated to continue to increase throughout the year. The full benefit of recent cost saving initiatives is not expected to be fully realised until the second half of the current financial year. Acquisition update Further to the Company's announcement on 21 June 2012, the Board of Dods has decided not to pursue any further the possible acquisition of the business of the DeHavilland Political Intelligence division of Emap Limited following the referral to the Competition Commission by the Office of Fair Trading.

Burson-Marsteller agrees to acquire leading communications consultancy, i&e SAS, in France WPP announces that Burson-Marsteller, its wholly-owned global public relations and public affairs firm, has agreed to acquire communications consultancy, i&e SAS ("i&e") in France. Paris-based i&e has 50 years of experience in the French market and specialises in reputation management, brand marketing and change management. The consultancy employs around 110 people and provides public relations services to public institutions and companies, including many of France's leading brands. i&e's unaudited revenues for the year ended 31 December 2011 were approximately EUR13 million with gross assets of approximately EUR5 million at the same date. This acquisition continues WPP's strategy of investing in important markets and sectors and its commitment to developing its strategic networks throughout Europe. Collectively, WPP companies employ nearly 5,000 people in France (including associates) with revenues of approximately US$850 million. On this basis, France is WPP's seventh largest market.
