It's a really good question and not one I can't provide a definite answer to, however my understanding is that bids are binding so when those envelopes are opened its going to be clear as to how much is being offered. And that is very likely to leak / be announced quite quickly.

My guess would be something from Premier Monday but they may do a joint announcement with the purchaser a few days later in a co-ordinated RNS.

My belief is and has always been that RKH and Premier will merge in an all share deal at some point further down the line but after Isobel has been properly appraised and of course the outcome of Ombrina Mare is known.

With the Zama bidding deadline Friday there are likely to be weekend rumours and a good chance of an RNS Monday from Premier.

Likely to be a very interesting week ahead of us.

Deadline for Zama bids is Friday. Zama is and always has been the catalyst for RKH, FID and a farm in..

People taking positions ahead of news with the knowledge that Ombrina Mare is coming down the tracks too.

Heavily oversold here. In 4 weeks we could be in a very, very different position.

It’s pretty clear that the market is currently pricing in zilch so far as RKH is concerned.

Zama sale - nit going to happen
Tory win and EFG loan - not going to happen
FID - Not going to happen due to 1 and 2
Ombrina Mare - not going to happen
Sealion being developed - not going to happen

That’s what gives you a market cap of £70m.......

However if any of those things do happen then this share is a completely different kettle of fish and is going to be re-rated over night.

For me one of the best things about this share want just it’s potential but also the insurance that Ombrina Mare gives an investor. It’s highly unlikely that a stock like this will eve trade at a discount to cash so post Ombrina Mare and assuming £150m payout, this share is immediately worth 45p without anything happening re Sealion.

I bet the feeling that something is brewing ...... next two weeks and we should hear on Zama. Lots of interest and activity starting on here. Normally a good sign that something is about to break.

John McDonnell has just confirmed there will be no windfall tax on oil companies....... not sure what part of RKH they'd have tried to tax however?

Absolutely agree with everything you say.

The drops in the share price are completely illogical given what could be around the corner, however I do wonder if the General Election and BREXIT situation is leaving big investors with their wallets firmly shut and uncomfortable to commit for the next couple of weeks.

In that type of environment the share price can only go one way and that's down. The market hates uncertainty as we all well know.

Zama is everything here and people need to realise it.

Nothing whatsoever can happen until a sale is confirmed. As soon as it is (and my interpretation is that the bidding has been extended 1st December) everything will slot into space. I expect news from Premier first week of December once the bids are in.

Without Zama there is no EFG. Without EFG there is no farm in. We have a list of interdependencies dependent on the sale.

Zama is the catalyst and key to lift off.

Two things. 1 After 8 years of waiting the market has virtually given up 2 Elections coming up means no one is going to take any positions until they know what colour gov we are going to have and whether Brexit is happening.

I remain convinced that in 6 weeks time, Zama sold and with Boris in power with a solid majority, things could look very different here.

Personally I thought the update was pretty much what I was hoping for. But people you need to understand that whilst everything is set up and ready to go, the catalyst is Zama. Once the sale is confirmed and price it will kick start the whol process.

1. Zama lots of interest to the point they are providing bidders with more time. More bidders means a higher price. First week December we should have sale confirmation and a price

2. EFG will be dependent on sale of Zama. It will be a condition that PMOs debt is reduced by x amount from the sale of Zama before the lending will be sanctioned These things have to work in sequence.

3. Premier have said they are now talking to farm in partners. Before it was they would like to get someone to farm in. Again the farm in won’t happen until Zama sale and price is confirmed.

You all need to understand that we have a host of interdependencies which will be triggered by the sale of Zama. The EFG and farm ins won’t happen until Zama. When the sale is confirmed watch it all fall into place....

In August, Premier commenced a formal sales process for its interest in the fully-appraised Zama oil field offshore Mexico. There has been significant industry interest in the process and, as a result, Premier has extended the bid deadline to December to accommodate this.

Bootle its a fair challenge but the point is that volume is low both ways. No one is buying but at the same point no one is selling (yes I get every buy has to have a sell etc) which suggests people just don't know anything and nothing has leaked.

Not forgetting even a 100k block is only £17k ... its just awaiting news and dripping down as people get impatient after 8 years of waiting. One RNS stating that its game on and we're going to be in a very different place with millions of shares traded.

I've been watching how volume and interest here has literally dropped to nothing over the last few months.

Usually you would expect a volume surge in the run up to a Premier update but no interest in any direction. Its as if all the cards have been laid and people are waiting to see how this turns out. Any news could trigger a very sharp movement in a near zero volume market.

I expect a ZAMA update tomorrow with very positive news based on Malcy's 'data room very busy' comment.

If Zama has been sold, that may well be the trigger for the farm in and the Export Finance loan which I reckon are probably both dependent on Zama. Classic case of interdependencies. Once the trigger is pulled we get the domino effect as everything starts to fall in to place with FID following soon. Just wish I had waited until now to put in my cash rather than to have averaged at 37p over the last 7 years!

Ultimately we have Ombrina Mare in Q1 which should be worth an extra 20p - 25p a share at least as an insurance policy (assumes £100m).

With a general election putting Boris in charge and a deal with the EU done, 2020 could be the year that it all finally happens.

As I have said before, the darkest hour is always just before the dawn.....
