I’m positive that FIG will bend. Given the population of the island is just 2,000 you don’t have to be a genius to work out that even a small take will make them all millionaires over a 5 year period of production.
Better to take a smaller portions make it go ahead than take nothing at all.
I think for Harbour the Falklands has the potential to be a small time North Sea with numerous follow on opportunities and will quickly become self financing at which time production growth will be exponential as more and more oil is discovered.
Huge potential here and good to see for once we are not in Malcy’s bucket list which is traditionally the kiss of death for the year in question.
Also agree re why Harbour have taken out Premier. Tax credits and potential of which 45% sits in one low tax, stable political kingdom and where they will have complete control albeit with Navitas as a useful partner.
