Big believer in this share and genuinely excited about 2021 and what will unravel however form a technical side the chart looks awful.

Absolutely concur with Happy and LTT.

We could be underselling ourselves here. It might just be possible that Sealion and the follow in opportunities were an important part of the jigsaw for Harbour and provide the future development that they need and seek.

Strip out Sealion and would they have proceeded? I guess the tax credits and additional production are useful but it strikes me that Sealion and the future opportunity would have clinched it for them.

Every reason to think that with sufficient cash, the North Basin becomes a mini north sea with countless follow on opportunities for the next couple of decades in a world of falling supply.

Exciting times just around the corner.

Regardless of our own personal interests in all this, the principle of national self determination and the rights of people to choose who governs them is the only thing that matters here. People decide who governs them not countries.

It’s a principle sadly that is apparently wasted on a country whose most recent national hero was a cheating drug addicted footballer who used to dial up prostitutes in the same way a normal person would order pizzas.

Following the huge 1m share purchase last night there appears to be some bot trading this morning with multiple deals going through at exactly the same time.

Are you referring to those working in branches only and forgetting the plethora of other departments, brands, service and products that make up the organisation based on such a sweeping statement?

4p on the share price amounts to £18m on the market cap. So no, the share price reflects neither Ombrina Mare or Sealion. And therein lays the opportunity. Of either happens the current valuation is hopelessly wrong.

I think we can safely say that a payment of £100m plus will see us trading in the mid thirties instantly and the market is starting to wake up to this against a backdrop of a rising oil price and Sealion sanctioning by the newly formed Harbour.

Lots to play for here and a long way to go.

Did anyone else notice the infamous 1 share trade seconds before the bell.

Historically it has signalled an RNS the next morning. We shall see........

I’m positive that FIG will bend. Given the population of the island is just 2,000 you don’t have to be a genius to work out that even a small take will make them all millionaires over a 5 year period of production.

Better to take a smaller portions make it go ahead than take nothing at all.

I think for Harbour the Falklands has the potential to be a small time North Sea with numerous follow on opportunities and will quickly become self financing at which time production growth will be exponential as more and more oil is discovered.

Huge potential here and good to see for once we are not in Malcy’s bucket list which is traditionally the kiss of death for the year in question.

Also agree re why Harbour have taken out Premier. Tax credits and potential of which 45% sits in one low tax, stable political kingdom and where they will have complete control albeit with Navitas as a useful partner.

At last everything appears to be lined up and ready to go on all fronts.

For the first time in years are we allowed to get excited for the future rather than dread the arrival of the next excuse???

Yes please. He’s been a disaster for the organisation and cost the Banking Industry tens of billions by caving in re PPI rather than fighting the judgement in the court of appeal.

Share price is down and yet he has walked off with millions in shares and bonuses along with two pensions.

Perfect example of an individual being rewarded for failure.

Forgive me for stepping in but undoubtedly yes. A payment if say £110m would be with cash if 25p a share so you would automatically expect the share precise to rise to 31p in an instant.

However that’s not the end of the story as with cash in their books, RKH no longer looks such a risk and won’t require additional funds from shareholders at any time in the future so we become eminently more investable.

On a separate note interesting piece in the Telegraph today about oil stocks in 2021 which says...... Profits will grow seven-fold' – why oil stocks are set for a bumper 2021

This is excellent news and means even in a worst case scenario, we are going to hear by June 2021.

Meanwhile we have the reverse takeover of PMO completing Q1 and will probably have confirmation re Sealion.

H1 2021 could be a defining periods for us and Rockhopper. Imagine getting to the half year point with Sealion FID and £100m in the bank.

Not sure it will still be 6p if everything drops into place as I think it will.

One is loss making with little chance of ever making a profit in between making regular cash calls to prop up its capital, whilst the other will make £6bn profit in an ordinary year..... just saying....

I remember Tony Durrant talking about Catcher and how Sealion was an almost carbon copy / lift and drop project with the same project team effectively taking the learning from Catcher and doing it all over again on a bigger scale with Sealion.

Actually and on reflection Paul, Arfa, Mike and everyone else compliments of the season and thank you for your excellent contributions which I read with huge interest. Ovets, Mogger and myself have been in here for more years than I care to mention and it’s good to see fresh blood and highly articulate individuals seeing the opportunity here ahead of what will hopefully be THE year once the deal completes in Q1 2021
