In terms of the points you raise, like many others I’m well aware of the business’s future liabilities. Who’d have thought it, a business with future decommissioning and other financial liabilities with no income burning through their cash reserves! ??

Rockhopper effectively have no income so of course cash is dwindling but OM sorts that issue in one go. OM is the key.

Navitas are the future and the oil price staying above $75 the key.

Beyond these three key enablers, the rest is of no consequences so far as I am concerned.

The girls appear to have come up with a co-ordinated posting of rubbish clearly designed to spook the unweary, but what are their motives? Why trash what you own?

I though Sealion was total of £1.6bn? Or was your figure including Phase 2 which would of course be funded out of cashflow from production from Sealion phase 1?

Investor demand for Bank shares appears to be insatiable at the moment.

Four out of the top five risers in the ftse were Banks today in a falling market.

ADRs in the States continued to rise through to the close ending 3.86% up so expect Lloyds to open up at 52.50p minimum tomorrow.

Remember each 0.25% rise in base rates puts £300m on Lloyds bottom line as all those billions of non interest deposits start to attract overnight income from money markets.

The company is awash with capital, buy backs and dividends set to start with a big yield whilst on a PE of 7 (50% discount to the market).

This has 85p year end written all over it and some serious income from dividends starting with the results In February.

Investors appear to be moving out of tech and into cyclicals.

2022 the year of Banks and Oil.

I've been saying for a while, who on earth would be selling with OM imminent (soon!) and details of the Navitas due soon and then you have oil at nearly $80 and a supply shock coming down the tracks with a 10m barrel a day shortfall possible by 2025.

Against that backdrop, anyone that sells now will be seriously regretting their decision very soon.

Hmmmm our friend from New Years Eve with the big pockets is back buying at 9.3p .. 260k trade.

I'm a Banker by trade, investor of 40 years experience so have seen and read a lot and use technical analysis as part of my armoury. That said RKH have always been a law to themselves so still need to be cautious!

Here are details of a rising triangle / pennant pattern. Look at the 1 month and 3 month chart.

Thing is we know that OM is imminent.

Probably giving this the kiss of death but the chart says big break out imminent.

Classic pennant like a coiled up spring and all ready for the Ombrina Mare announcement .......

My understanding is that given the tiny population of circa 2k inhabitants, they are set to become the richest nation in the world per head of population.

Looking at the cash position and this years profits of almost £8bn, I am predicting a £1.5bn (6bn shares) share buy back and final dividend of 2p at a total cost of £4bn. Still leaves the £4bn of retained earnings from unpaid dividends etc from 2019 intact and £1.5bn from this year for investment in the business and acquisitions.

With each 0.25% of interest rate increases adding an additional £300m to the bottom line, this has to be a no brainier up to 80p min.

after yesterdays news, Ombrina Mare set to be announced at any time and more details / confirmation of the Harbour farm in due to be made public in January, who on earth would any one decide today to sell a single share?

Are these people mad, ill informed or desperate?
