Isobel was never appraised due to rig issues but they hit a 400m column of oil which suggests it’s probably a whopper and bigger than Sealion.

No doubt they’ll want to go and have a poke around as soon as possible once everything else is in motion.

Expecting a nice rise today as all the conversations with families and friends lead to people mopping up shares today and taking positions ahead of the new year.

Actually creating a nice pennant in an upwards moving trend. Usually very bullish and comes before a major breakout.

That said when has Rockhopper ever played by any of the rules?

I guess one other dynamic that might play out is Navita's arbitragers using RKH as a cheap way into getting exposure to Sealion.

At some point in the next 6 months, RKH and Navitas are going to start to move as one.

Like you I'm extremely disappointed at the delay on the OM announcement albeit everyday that passes is another day of interest accruing at a not insignificant rate, given where base rates are today.

My portfolio and pensions still have around 30% exposure to the UK, however I am at the point of liquidating them all and focusing on Global and North American funds plus India.

I just can't see where the growth is going to come from bar specific stations like RKH. The country is in real and absolute decline and is living beyond its means. It's completely unsustainable.
