Commissioning to begin october 24, estimated to take up to 6 months(from previous presentations). April 2025 before making money maybe, either way it's not long to wait. nice to see their contribution at the local school also.
Pullone, you can buy shares in a normal dealing account and then "bed & isa" over to your ISA in April. just be mindful of paying capital gains tax from profit made in the dealing account once they are sold to transfer over
"KMUK have commenced an update to the Ngoualana open pit optimisation plan following expansion of the Mineral Resource estimate (refer to announcement of 14 November 2023) and associated mine design that will provide the project team with the information necessary to procure a mining contractor for the mining and site earthworks required for the construction works to commence."
i just take that as they are making adjustments to allow for additional tonnage, 12 months from funds landing to begin mining November 2024 and 6 months to fine tune... so april/may 2025 seems fair
Lav, did sound like Nielle was something they were looking to expand on further in the new year and Fatou still required more work. I would be surprised if we get gold updates in Q1 now having listened again
Around 18 months ago someone had an email response from Kodals PR team stating the website is due to be updated, if it's taken this long i imagine a total overhaul of the site will appear, hopefully spring time to coincide with bonanza gold resource announcement along with the additional 20mt spod upgrade. here's hoping eh
Get on youtube, there's lot's of channels that will give you insights of the stockmarket. active/managed funds probably your safest bet for now. i use AJ and they have their own funds as well as other funds also available on many other trading platforms. lot's of YT videos on Vanguard funds which are low cost. i personally use a stocks and shares ISA as i won't have to pay tax on any gains, daft not to really. keep your money safe in the bank for now, the best investment for any beginner (in my view) is spend the next few evenings/weeks watching youtube beginner investing videos and reading articles provided on whatever stock broker you use and then your beginner mistakes won't be as bad a wild stabs in the dark. prepare to lose money and hopefully make some back.
Research, research and more research. if someone mentions any rumours or highlights any news, go and research it to vailidate what they are saying is true. otherwise presume the news is false. ultimately it's entirely your responsibility to research companies before investing in them. read their RNS announcements for the past 12months+ and check regularly for updates, last thing you want is to miss some potentially huge news that could shift the share price up or down on a large scale.
for Kodal, watch the BRR media and proactive investor videos, watch the past kodal presentation videos and read the presentations on their website if you can find them..

19:16 into the presentation details what gold news could be coming up. (nielle and fatou all being well)
