Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
@scmdcyp, are you on drugs?
@ibiza, he has already said he'll hand over to the next leader and that should be by 16th April. Fingers crossed we get someone who's able to put ryan in his place and get him to start thinking seriously about Irelands gas security and infrastructure for the future. 🤞🤞
Which of the large buys was yours?
So just to be clear, Paul is way out of his depth? Hard to get that kind of info from your very vague message.
@silverfoil, 100% the benefits system is designed to help you when you need it, although it seldom does from my own experience.
Nobody on benefits should be better off than anybody who works, particularly those that need a 2nd/3rd job just yo make ends meet. It stinks!
Here in Germany anybody can have "a mini job" it's basically a tax free amount (€410) a month. But that money gets spent, bars/restaurants/supermarkets clothes etc, whereas I'm the uk you take a part time job and lose 33% right off the bat. No incentive.
A tweet to DWP would soon scupper his retirement plans.
@oldslow judging from this I'd say it's not a very high risk but a foregone conclusion!
Based off the most current cash-flow projections, the Company forecasts that its cash reserves will be fully depleted in the first week of March 2024 and that the Company will require additional funding to be able to continue operations beyond such date. The Company has sought, and so far been unable to obtain, such additional funding.
But that's for the copl BB to discuss.
Got a link for that garage piece
Is now the time for the BOD to bring in help to run the company? Clearly there are too many plates spinning all at once for PG and LB to deal with alone. Delay after delay, setback after setback, deadlines missed. It seems as though a lot of people are not happy with the constant disappointment (yes, not all can be attributed to the BOD, but a hell of a lot can be)
The kind of dumping of shares the last few days is akin to a heavily discounted placing that we've all been victim too.
Personally I think if we get one more delay/setback and there'll be much more dumping than we've ever seen and could see the SP at all time lows. My confidence is waning and I suspect I'm not alone, however I'm hopeful the sandjet testing procedure brings good news and with it a new confidence. Otherwise it could be curtains for PRD.
Liebe Grüße from a cold and wet Germany
nobody deserves to be abused for what they post, either here or on twitter. @grh, regards twitter, there are steps you can take to reduce the amount of ****s responding to your posts. perhaps that's a better way forward than not posting at all, as there are some who enjoy your posts.
turning off comments, only people mentioned in the post can reply etc. check it out, it might sslvage some of your sanity, reduce the amount of ****ty replies and benefit your true followers.
the amount of trolls in here yesterday was shocking, seemingly lth but between them hadn't 5 posts in 12 months. @ssholes isn't a strong enough phrase for them.
switch off for a few days genuine holders, nothing we can do or say will change the outcome of yesterday's rns, take it easy and enjoy something else until next week when the dust has settled.
liebe grüße.
@BRV, that theory should be all over Twitter!
I strongly disagree with every part of your post. I have no other sensible words to say.
Looks like whoever leaked info didn't leak either positive or negative info.
@staylong, not sure where you checked the "open shorts" I found the best place to check was ortex.com, although it's not cheap. That said at these prices any insti's looking to go short with the SP so low would need to short sell about 6 billion shares to make the risk worth while. I dont think the risk/reward is worth it.
Anyway, it's a long term hold for me.
Guess LSE dosent want to lose any more people to the better alternatives.

@ra11, can I ask where you aquire you maths skills? Your figures don't add up.
People sell for all sorts of reasons, I had to sell shares about 4 years ago to pay for my father's funeral, upset me having to do that but there you are. Don't forget there are thousands of investors not on this board who don't care what others think, or concern themselves with what the SP is currently doing.
If you believe, that's all that matters long term.
personally speaking, i think ryan had his one chance to make a difference in irish politics and he chose to be a stubborn ****** with his policies. elections next year and sinn fein are on target to become the majority party, meaning "bye bye green party" perhaps he's realised his party policies are affecting people way more than he imagined and affecting irelands energy security to the extent that he alone will be remembered for.
@acottt, if you are to believe twatter then all the insti's are buying prd right now, however other than a nice rise over the last week I see no evidence, no tr1 as yet so I remain cautious. That said, it is entirely possible that 1/a few/some/plenty/all insti's are quietly building a position.
Take everything with a pinch of salt until evidence suggests otherwise.
Including this post 🤪
