What people seem to forget that oil hedged at a set price doesn’t mean you have to use the hedge..... it just means you lose the money it cost to take out said hedge.
Therefore hedging at $60 doesn’t affect our ability to benefit from higher prices.
This is how mexicos hedges work so I assume it’s the same across the board.
A dangerous game but that and money transfers is ultimately how I made my 130k plus portfolio from nothing so it works when you pick the right stocks.
Rates are crazy cheap atm so no worries there and this will be a short term play until results then I’ll repay the loan penalty free.
Put another five grand into this as didn’t expect to see 26p again. The money I put in was a small chunk I’d sold at 33p.
My average still sits at about 29p now but with the new company on its way that will be small fish.
If I’m reading the RNS correctly they’re now going ahead with sanctioning Zama instead of potentially selling it... sounds good.
Well I’m more looking at any forwsrd looking statement to be issued
Should be a quarterly update tomorrow if I’m not mistaken
With oil prices probably averaging $60-$64 a barrel compared to about $48 in quarter 4 we’re talking about a decent chunk of profit.
With these oil prices net debt will be hit earlier than expected i.e q3 instead of q4
Baffles me this share price does. 90% of other sectors are back to pre covid levels even the awful ones like most airline saddled with debt. Yet we’re sat at a measly 3.16£ wtf is going on?
Regardless I’ll sit and wait until market wakes up and we hit £4.50 added another £5k this morning so now in for £95k.
Agree people that have blind trust in everyone will always end up paying the price.
Human nature is fickle and just because you’re related to someone means nothing to some.
People see a quick fortune and can’t resist it enough insusnce hit examples to last a lifetime lol.
I’d rather pay a few ££ more in tax and know my money is secure
Lets not get carried away this share price is laughable given the oil price and recovery. I mean we were at £3.62 in June 2020...... with oil at what $35-40
This is coming from someone who bought from £1.98-£2.80 with an average of £2.41. My current £30k profit should be at least £70k
