not ruling out updates from now until the end of June.. as looks like we have had either an update via rns or interviews at least monthly since start of this year from fg/ qbt, so we could get an update of some sort this month .. and one for may before the big one lands in June :) in all probabilities think they will be positive.

by the way the title of this thread reminds me of a song.

my feeling is we will get a final RNS closer to June.. with all the updates and signed agreement with miner.. less then 2 & 1/2 months now hopefully. Bitcoin just needs to continue going up which many analysts are perdicting it will, .. as much as I want this done tommorow it's all in the hands of team qbt to now finally deliver the goods and disrupt the mining industry with their invention. FG and team have been testing and researching this for the past 2 years..... if it was destined to fail then we would have known by now, but as FG said all is going well and suggested this is the final testing phase. Anyways the current price is good for top up and for those that want a 30% (sigh)......

I just hope news is released asap so half the peeps on this board sell and move on, alot of whining, crying and complaining.

well.. they have been saying this about bitcoin for the past 10 years yet it's still here.

It's more likely another bank will go bust then bitcoin becoming worthless.

some people need to relax especially those that have invested too much and expect qbt to update them everyday on progress...maybe take up a hobby. As per last interview all is good and bitcoin is going up.. next update will be the final one.

22startrip and bobcat it's not ramping... in fact if you scroll up you will see atleast 9 different reasons have been given by Jambone on why Lth like myself are expecting the price to go up... rather then accuse Jambone of just ramping maybe explain why you think any of the reasons offered are not valid? you can't because they are all valid reasons ! that are based of past RNS and further confirmed in statements made by the boss (fg) in interviews .. so if anything your comments are misleading as there is nothing offered apart from calling us all rampers for simply posting the truth.

can't blame the qbt team for wanting extra comfort.. it is just the nature of the job. I can imagine the typical conversation with a potential miner tho by the end of this,

Miner: " Qbt are you 100% sure you can deliver us 30% or more efficiency?

Qbt /fg: "we are not 100% sure.. we are 110% sure!"

for those that hate others posting positive notes on their investment in qbt, well I've got 2 words for you.................TEsting testing! :)

I agree, I think the next news is testing complete, here's the final output and a partner signed up. in terms of partners.. at minimum 1 of the 9 mentioned on the recent qbt report, as fg said the report was designed for their potential customers to show qbt understand there needs, qbt service can be the difference between a miner in profit or out, not to mention the halving event which will reduce the number of bitcoins. I also wouldn't rule out mining.. even if it is altcoins.

well done.. but going back to topic if we're going to look at capital gains then bitcoin and qbt have doubled since Nov 2022.

I'm not being funny but that is not a good investment.. your asking an investor to fork out almost a £1,000,000 to buy 500,000 shares for £8k.. I've rounded up the numbers for ease of calculation. In percentage terms that's only.. 0.8% return.. if you trust the banks so much you would have got a better return.. top savings account are paying up to 4.6% lol.

speaking of desperate.. looks like bank of england trying to hasten their plans of a britcoin.

However will probably take another 10 years to implement something.. but still wont match what bitcoin has accomplished for the past 14 years..

I'm not good with charts.. but I've heard 1.8 or close above means next stop is 2.5 or 2.6.. courtesy of zak Mir. would be good to see us move into 2p..given bitcoin has now almost doubled.. from its low of $15k -$16k.

Maybe the asicboost isn't reliable..and doesn't deliver the top speeds or mixed results when adopted when it comes to speed. It was invented when the hashrate was much lower and the bitcoin price no where near the price today, 2013-2016 i believe? whereas with qbt we know alot of testing has been done in the last 2 years, and seems we are getting very consistent results in terms of speed and efficiency.. the invention Itself is unique and different as confirmed by the publishing of patent for wider scrutiny. Also judging by patent details and previous rns , qbt have overcome any limitations the asic boost had so they must be very aware of any potential issues miners had or actually had when adopting asic boost.

10 years ago the price of bitcoin was around $300.. so alot has changed since then. Maybe re-read Addisons reply above for explanation.

further fg did mention they are aware of all the other patents out there suggesting this is unique and different so look forward to approval.

So it isn't Asic boost or a version 2 of Asic boost , if anything reading the above it seems they have considered the limitations of existing optimisations in the market including ASIC Boost and made improvements so don't think they will face the same issues.

not everyone needs to be convinced.. but judging by the last interviews there are miners who are very interested in what qbt are working on, for these miners don't think much convincing would be needed, maybe just the final results. Qbt are not even doing any active marketing by the looks of it fg when asked if they would be distributing their recent report his answer was not needed as the miners are aware of them....but there is pent up demand and miners are very keen to sign NDA's and discuss business.
