Jez they don't need to have the cash.. as another poster pointed out usually a lender is involved in the transaction so the lender would take their cut after the options are sold in the market for many multiples of 5p or 10p.

Personally very excited for qbt, the hard work looks like it's paid off and it's only upwards from here.

Qbt are building infrastructure in North America to bag revenue from most of the Large miners.

Also the genius of qbt is were in crypto and AI 2 of the hottest sectors at the moment.

20x is minimum from here.. with the bull run even more up to 50x.

Putting myself in a large miners shoes.. I'm getting 2.6x results.. then I look at the market value of qbt.. the amount of value I'm gaining just doesn't compare to the amount I could buy qbt shares at a huge discount.

Given the size of the miners and they are talking to the largest i think it's :

1. Subscription and % of mined coins

Or

2. % of mined coins only

Subscription only doesn't make any sense... but then again I don't know if the large miners have many 1000's of these miners then atleast its a fixed income every month.. think some combination of both would be good.. if we have some bitcoin on our balance sheet for the next bull run.. that would be excellent.

Whatever the case is, it's a fact qbt have been engaged with large north american miners since the annual bitcoin event that happened earlier this year which I believe was May 18-20 2023.

We're close to 6 months on and these same potential partners are testing the sSaas release of method a/ b.

So a deal with a large miner is expected whether that's block or anyone else.
