FG good interview - nothing more to add apart from Brew and Co wrong as usual fg clarified the team isn't off for the whole month as being spread.

Would have been good if proactive pushed on the deadline.. seemed at the end they have a choice go with a third party or change the firm themselves from memory doing it themselves this could add another 6 months on top.. but fg says they are in a strong position to negotiate and if favourable terms they will go with a third party in which case we're still on track for revenues this year.

The way I read it is traders have taken 20% profits and gone. It wasn't the final rns that gives us signed contracts, revenue expectations and testing complete which will land at some point.

Seems the market has very high expectations.. but fg just told us a month ago they are still having issue with porting, it would have been a miracle if a month later everything was going good lol very unrealistic..

I would say Fg has created an expectation with the last line of that rns.. they are confident with the switch they made that this will ACCELERATE there efforts.. given no further update on the timelines I think they can still get it done by end of the year.. and that's what they expect too.

Thought id repost the below from over Advfn. Sums up nicely why those who can are still buying at these all time lows. no idea why someone would sell now, news can drop anytime up until september and guaranteed update in September due to half year results. its not easy raising money through another placement if they can do it then it would be on the back of something tangible.. but dont think this is needed as prior RNS's state this is funded until revenue which is expected this year. Personally adding with expectation they will wrap the testing up in September and finalise those deals in the last couple of months for revenue. Nothing from FG so far to say were behind all is on track. Massive upside and rewards here. DYOR as for the other rubbish being posted about FG on holiday for a month lol no one takes a month off especially when getting paid a monthly fee. FG has constantly emphasised the team are working hard pretty much every day.

If anyone is wondering why the drop today then its not because of the RNS this morning - but the sell off in global markets due to the fears of the US economy and its affecting tech stocks.

The new auditors most likely have prompted for the disclosure as best practice to be in line with aim rules.. change in auditors is the only development in relation to compliance aspects , so this is most likely a suggestion from them. funny how a straightforward compliance disclosure causes some to spread wild speculation like rumours of fg is leaving in 6 months lol some have just been on these chat boards too long and need to get a grip.

Nothing new here really.. we all know "FG as chief research officer responsible for coordinating and leading QBT’s research and development activities."

Rules just say this has.to be disclosed.

Anyways.. on the £12,500 per month this seems to be a low rate for someone who is the CRO.. thought it would be alot more given FGs background. Given the Low pay rate and set up i guess its to get some tax benefit all round for qbt and Fg.

I think they just underestimated the time it would take to port on to chinese miners.. FG has said they didnt expect it to take this long but given the nature of the miners and no help from bitmain i suppose its just taking longer. But they are making progress.

Having said that .. they were able to port successfully to the intel miners and it worked.. so they just need to get it to work on the current miners.

They Need to provide some timelines my estimate is they would have to finish off the testing and be sure this works by atleast the end of September. There is also the setup of servers and infrastructure that was mentioned.. an update on this too.. essentially alot to do i think in the next 5 months.. would be good to know some more details around how they aim to do this.. with more details on the progress so far.

Given how far they have come and the cash they have received £2m raise at end of last year.. and £1m recent court receipts this should be the bottom really for share price..its always bounced from here on positive news.

Personally if they can clarify timelines.. maybe provide an estimated date for market roll out for method b and that should set things off here.. Last update in March they couldn't provide a date.. since then it's been downhill.

Until there is official confirmation or an update from QBT regarding testing on alternative miners such those by block inc, I believe the daily progress being made that FG is referring to is the Bitmain miners.

Hex I can see where your coming from but for me it's a high risk / high reward. Once qbt prove its operationally viable then this will move quick. It is just a waiting game for now. Your comments can be misleading to someone who is sitting on the fence , hasn't done the necessary research etc Anyways good luck.

This is an interesting article that shows the pivot of big miners towards AI.

Given what's happened with Nvidia there's definitely investor interest in miners that can exploit AI. Working with QBT would be a win/ win opportunity.

QBT building their own infrastructure to mine will take a lot of time and resources. Partnering with big miners is the right strategy as the article suggests this is a trend big miners are open to...fg has already confirmed revenue is expected this year.. hopefully some further updates on the progress of method b from the aGM.

Why would qbt release detailed documentation around testing these are always internal confidential documents- no company would release this.

If they did release them then this obviously handing the competition the keys to all the know - how which they have been very careful to protect all this time!

As an investor we don't need the technical details not all investors are specialists.

It's enough that we have been updates on the progress. Issues they faced and overcome.

Who cares how he says it , his expectation is there will be revenue in 2024 and If that changes I.e no revenue expected then they will formally announce it via rns not just say it on an interview.

fg has been consistent so far, if management were 100% sure no revenue is expected they would have announced it by now.

Auditors have to take the most prudent view regardless of management expectations its just nature of the job. Its not an exact science either, like I said auditors can be wrong they are just following the rule book to prepare financial statements.

Auditors have to take the most prudent view when signing off the accounts.

Meanwhile Fg is optimistic this is the year revenue will be generated.

The 2 are not mutually exclusive.

Both present an outlook you either go with what the auditors are saying ( how many times have they got it wrong ? Just google auditor scandals theres a long list)

Or you go with what fg is saying who has the current most up to date knowledge on how things stand.
