Sounds like you can have little complaints :-) to answer your question, when AT and SH took their slice of the pie by selling some of their holding, I regarded this as a green light that they were confident their remaining holding would be worth more than enough for their own purposes further down the line. So, they must have been reassured (by their own knowledge, or through their partners) at that point that it was a responsible financial decision (People like bonuses, but would much prefer an annual pay rise year on year). I have long believed (and still do), as you know, that Facebook will acquire Melody and have probably already agreed the terms/timings. Maybe it will be just before spring 19 - if so, Oculus would have one hell of a marketing strategy at their disposal coming up to concert and festival season.

It is clear (at least to me) that Melody have put everything ‘revenue-making’ wise on hold on the firm instruction of Oculus. They must have faith in what is on the horizon with Oculus to delay making real revenue until they are told to. For me, this explains the “...not worried about the sp” retort, principally because their decisions are not influenced by us or the sp. There is a major power at play behind the scenes. I read these posts from time to time and it is clear that there are many people that simply do not understand business. Put yourselves in the heads of all those who have left lucrative jobs to work for Melody. They know and we should know that this company is being driven to succeed by Melody, major players and musicians. Stay positive :-)

Interesting on many levels, not least because Facebook are banned in China; Tencent are building their own Vr Headset; they own their own social media platform; they have been buying up other UK gaming companies; and have deals with Universal et al. Oh, and we are expanding into a China. Hmmm...

Then again, they’ve done live gigs with live nation / NextVR before haven’t they?!

Behaviour breeds behaviour. All the negativity and whining is causing the weak minded and ill-informed to panic. Are Medody VR and their employees/Partners panicking? No. Why? Because, as has been said repeatedly, the app release was “just the start of the journey”. Medody are holding back on BIG events and their BIG name content for a reason. If the CEO was trying to make money from the shares, he would have slipped away quietly by now - he hasn’t. Do yourselves a favour, review the SP daily by all means, but keep the negative comments out of reach of others, unless based on facts or reliable sources. Rant over. Stay positive. Stay happy.

I agree - kids need to be free and out and about getting into mischief!! Very sad times, but I guess children feel safer from judgment hiding behind a screen these days.

Chillston, can I add a different dimension to your viewpoint here. You are basing your concerns on the comparison between gaming/ porn (perceived to be suitable for private experiences (mainly)) and MVR which you think is not - however, today’s generation of children are not ‘social’ in the way you suggest. They gather together vary rarely compared to how we used to in our day. Today’s social activities involve texting, FaceTime and writing posts/blogs on social media - they also listen to music on their own, don’t communicate at all during this process, but then text/post their views online. This experience can easily be substituted for a vr experience with MVR. No right or wrong here, just a different viewpoint.
