I think based on these figures even 3p is optimistic and nowhere near the averages of many LTH's here it still looks a bit pathetic to me...

Seems that way down 2% leading up to guaranteed and decent dividend while many other stocks have suspended theirs.

Agree with the next few weeks bit but I think it will drop back before getting back into top gear...

Nobody can work the share if you are your own man and dont believe all the carp that is said on these boards, these AIM discussion boards are 90% agenda driven and 10% social ! There is some unbelievably subtle ramping going on over on another share I am in - KDNC right now - far worse than here !

I think its the wrong time to buy back in now, the MMs are keeping the price up for the sale of the placing overhang IMO..

I made a few bob the other day on some I bought just after the consolidation,, but I think this share is still like a coiled serpent waiting to bite.. I may see how it goes in the next week and perhaps have another crack at it !

Dallas - I fully get this, I was just jabbing at the level of 'intellectual' ramping thats going on here, this is a risk but the way things are constantly being pitched is like blanket advertising..As for Zak Mir he gets to air what he is paid to air..
I would urge people to have a look at the Anton Kriel vids on youtube he talks a lot about people with agendas telling you to do what they want you to do.

I'm sorry if I'm missing something here but these figures dont fill me with the desire to believe the share price will go very far really. Give the issued shares the earnings per share would still be tiny around .2p so how will we ever achieve share price greatness like this, it makes no sense. £2m is pocket money...

Further to my previous post, Ivybush has outlined - slightly more eloquently than me that there is a wiff of hurdles to be jumped over before we get to the prize here..Obs would have use believe it is 'money in the bank' - 'explosive profit' - 'a dead cert £1 soon' (judging by his level of posting and smart looking research) but there is still stuff thats been glossed over by this board IMO...

Huinwha - You sound like someone who has taken out a position in this and is staunchly defending their investment..We have been around this share for the best part of a decade and whilst you may be right that some independant review is needed, it just tells me that this could still go pear-shaped as where this board are concerned they have a history of not getting anything right. Is this scoping study a BFS ? If it isnt why is it costing £650K and also as I've said previously, if Amapa is such a hot deal, why are they having to still raise finance in such a painful way ?
I hope to be proved wrong but these boys have form !

This is a very good point -- here I go about to be negative again --- why do we need a scoping study when this was pitched as a no-brainer money on the bank etc etc. But this placing is just another Cadence beer money raise as its always been for 7/8 years..Obs fills the board with what looks like wonderful business analysis but the bacon is never delivered so it seems...

When EMH was in the 80's had my best ever opportunity to take profits and didnt, which has changed me now as an invester forever..I now use the old 'bird in the hand' principle...

Maybe Amapa IS the turning point, but we have spent years allowing this incompetent board learning the hard way how not to do things AT OUR EXPENSE ! Last week I mage my first ever profit from this share, I managed to top-slice my cheapest tranch of KDNC shares 30,000 @ 28% profit - never thought I would see the day -- but the next lot are going to need the BOD to do something else very right !

I have met GC and I personally dont think he is in the mould of many of the other AIM shark CEO -- however not do I think he always gets things right. We may now be on the right road, but only the share price will do the talking, none of us sunk our cash for the glory and a bit of a giggle so we will just have to see what happens in the next few months....

Ivy - you'd have thought, considering how big Amapa can potentially be, that less 'painful' financing could be secured. My understanding of investment banking is that if you see an opportunity with massive potential you can rustle up some cash to finance it with a healthy level of interest....

You could be right this is only about the 200th time I have heard something like this !

Just more optimism regarding the world oil prices...
