The UKOG board reminds me of what it must have been like in David Koresh's WACO Texas compound, ie anyone daring to go against doctrine should die ! A ridiculous share with a ridiculous set of disciples IMO !

CC - no offence but so far in AIM investing I am hard pushed to see that loads of research really helps much other than the basics. For instance nobody forsaw Korat buying that boat. I might re-activate my old company and buy my daughters car off her for twice its market value then offset it against TAX -- same idea...
Almost all of the AIM shares I hold have a poster with oodles of detailed looking research and none of it helps much it is more designed to keep people on the hook..

I've been in this situation with a couple of AIM shares I bought years ago, not realising that all AIM stocks spike initially and then peter out for years with the odd blip until they come to fruition or get de-listed. It is hard to overcome the 'good after bad' psychology that goes with this scenario. I am only in Capita because at 44p it definatel has a lot of value, I can see it doubling but not the barnstorming valuations that some give...

roger - you should consider yourself lucky here as I am assuming whilst the share is frustrating you probably have a more reasonable entry price than many. I have been here for years and have averaged down over the years but still have many shares at 50p+ - 2 years is nothing compared to many holders here...

Agree here wholeheartedly....All the intelligent looking research in the world will not turn around an AIM share that is destined for badness. This share is on a precipice really, if Amapa happens it will be years of misery vindicated, if Amapa goes belly up, it will be game over. All the rampy posters will have just helped KM and the muppets to scoop another years or so salary...

A null RNS really the usual corporate burble - well they are never going to say 'he was useless and were glad to see the back of him' are they....

swazers - I agree with you. I have gotten badly unstuck on several AIM shares by not taking profits. One share I hold has a bid of around 16p and my average is around 33p. but had I taken profits I could have netted £30K+. I think CPI will do okay though I think it will be a bit of a wait for it to break £1 frankly. But buyers and holders beware !!!

They are the arrogant idiots who refuse to negotiate rents with beleaguered high street shops and now they will reap the consequences, unfortunately you shareholders will suffer for their arrogance...

What depresses the share price is none of the sexy promised stuff EVER happens over years and years of activity !

lawrence - you havent noticed the elephant in the room and that is posts like that one are total bullshine and hope alone will not make the share fly -- actual deeds are what will make this increase in value !

@dave - I actually did this yesterday. I was getting a quote on a share, my wife came in distracted me about some frivolity and I clicked accept rather than cancel -- bugger !

Etot-the first thing you need to realise about AIM stocks is the the spread is usually largeish and changes constantly as the demand for shares on the MM's changes..This has the effect of sometimes causing the percieved Bid price changing also when calculated as a mid price..If you look at a main marker ie 'proper' share the prices shown on say HL are usually accurate. On some more illiquid AIM stocks I think the MM's much about with the spread to give the appearance the share is going up or down, to try and stimulate trading...

Looks like a big positive step, but now they need to shart shipping product, getting revenue and providing shareholder value. Trouble with a lot of these AIM shares is when you have a lot of long time underwater PI's any big gain causes an exodus for obvious reasons...
