Learnt the hard way not taking AIM profits ! Held one share I could have realised £35k on but instead held onto them and only now is the profit starting to build again after 3 years ! No room for sentimentality on AIM !

I didnt, I made 32% on this over 3 days. It does look to be trading in the same range again...

2,5p would be a pretty poor risk vs return over 4 years. Chose the right OEIC and you could make this with relatively little risk !

bluegrass - Im asking the same thing too. The only thing is the geographical location for EMH seems to have the edge at the moment. BCN is a richer and cheaper to produce product though...

nomlungu - I'm sorry but with this share I have heard this before a couple of times and it always seems to drop back. There is no point having a large NAV if traders are not interested !

As I understand it (having seen Wolf of Wall st) these OTC trades are pure paper only and the last price is whatever the broker (salesman) can get from a particular punter(s). So this would account for momentary reported high prices. But these are barely grounded in the reality of the value of the share as they are not traded per-se.

£20K is my outer limit for ultra-risky tink cap AIM shares.
I have a 7 figure portfolio but now I am retired and dont have a mega paycheck each month I have to manage risk a bit !

Shares like this are a hobby to people like Giles Clarke and if they screw up he just laughs about it at sunday lunch !

I was just looking over my portfolio and all in all I have about £17k in this and my ave is about 3.3p so there is a chance of some profit it now seems ! I have quite a few shares at the high prices you mention if it make you feel a bit better !

Faz - Good point, on a nano cap share like this traders sadly need to be interested for it to blossom, otherwise if a buyout comes it may be too cheap...

Unfortunately I bought some at this time which was a poor entry point for me...

I'm a bit surprised myself as it has been a lacklustre investment for me so far. Evereyone constantly talks about Lenovo etc etc but whilst we had a barnstorming few days on the markets this has looked like the ugly bridesmaid !

I red an article in a magazine 7 years ago talking about sonora which got me into this and KDNC -- a tad early though it seems !

Looking at the trading late afternoon it looks like people have been looking down the back of the sofa for cash to put in this !

I dont think I will be waiting for £2 as I do want to see some profit after over 6 years but I am upbeat given that I am now almost in profit overall on this ! Mind you it is funny when Eyeguy posts "spin and distraction away from Amapa to suit various swing or negative tradinb agendas" --- as if he has NO trading agenda !

You are probably on track here - they are already trying to hide the real cost of cars with vehicle leasing, where the vast majority of people who are useless with cash can be hoodwinked !
